The wedding plan

Marissa paced back and forth in the nursery, her heart heavy with worry. Lily, her adorable three month-old daughter, was wailing inconsolably in her crib, and nothing seemed to soothe her. The exhausted mother wracked her brain for solutions, desperate to bring a smile back to Lily's cherubic face. Finally, she decided to try giving her a bath, hoping the warm water would provide some comfort.

As Marissa prepared the bathroom, filling the baby tub with water at the perfect temperature, she took a deep breath and scooped Lily up in her arms. The little one's cries continued, her tiny face flushed with tears. Marissa carefully undressed her, softly cooing words of reassurance.

Just as Marissa was about to lower Lily into the water, the bathroom door creaked open. It was Justin, her loving husband, who had heard the commotion from the other room. He rushed to Marissa's side, his concern etched on his face.
