Chapter 32 - Himari's date

The next day, Yuuki stretches his body wearing the clothes that Shushu bought waiting for Himari. He doesn't typically care about how he looks since he's not trying to impress anybody but looking at the window reflection shows that the clothes compliment his clothes.

Yuuki's life in this world completely changed him from the experience till now. He never had the luxury of a good life, always on the brink of death due to his craving for a memorable fight.

The life of Daniel, his former self, was not pleasant where his mother was alcoholic and his father abusive. The only thing good that came from them was his father teaching him to be a man and fight.

His father was a former soldier and had PTSD but Daniel still disliked how his life was and only experienced joy in fight and camaraderie with his gang friends on the streets that he protected.

Yuuki doesn't see them as his parents, rather his current ones are strict but loving and develop him to be a better person. In a way, he was not Daniel anymore and now Yuuki Wakura. Though he still made a lot of mistakes in this world, he was still better than his former self.

He pondered if it was a liability that he became more sympathetic and caring than his former self reflecting on the mistake he had made.

Still, when push comes to shove he'll return to his ruthless and uncaring self wishing that he does not fear that the others would be afraid of what kind of monster he can be. He can let loose against Shuuki because there mindless creature but against humans does change things

He pondered if they would remain by his side when they head to another world or would they stay behind. Regardless of their decision, he would respect them and still accept it.

Still, he wishes that they'll follow him to another world and even with his [ probability manipulation ] still anxious about the future and their choice later on.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting."

His thoughts came to a half when a voice arrived turning his head to find Himari wearing a casual outfit that perfectly matched her personality.

As Yuuki spent time with them, he began to feel closer and affectionate to them having mutual growth between themselves, making ponder if it was his [Slave ] status, his ability, or his natural charisma but regardless, he genuinely started to fall for them rather than simply being attracted.

Even without knowing their life, he loved their personality and character with Himari's tsundere yet caring demeanor and Shushu upbeat yet easily flustered personality.

"Yuuki-san?"

Himari noticed that he started to be more distracted pondering why she was able to notice little detail even though it had only been 2 weeks and few days since they knew each other.

"Ah, sorry, I'm just taken aback by how great you look in that outfit."

Yuuki gave his sincere answer scratching his cheek while Himari blush hearing his compliment before quickly coughing.

"T-Thank you but I doubt you didn't say the same thing to Shushu-chan yesterday."

"I did, still you and her are not the same and have different charm. Shushu-chan is Shushu-chan and You are you, that's why don't try to compare yourself to her or anyone else. Stay the way you are, my cute tsundere."

His teasing got to Himari who tried to avoid his gaze after hearing his words.

"H-How about we continue our d-date, there's a lot of things I want to know and a ramen shop that I like to try."

Himari walked past him while Yuuki just smiled, following her to the place she wanted to try. They soon arrived where the two placed their order as they were waiting for their order Himari began her question.

"Be honest with Yuuki….do you also like me?"

Himari is worried that her feelings might be one-sided and Yuuki is playing with her feelings. She had her doubts about sharing a man but deep down a part of her was telling her to trust him.

"Well, in the beginning I disliked your tone and how you view me but that's how things are and understable considering I'm a man. However, I'm a man with strong intuition and judgment in character. I know that there's more to it than meets the eye."

Himari intently listened to his opinion as he had a serious expression different from his laid-back demeanor.

"Eventually we gotta get to know each other and like despite what you've been through you're able to smile through it all."

Yuuki smiled thinking of her being happy that Himari felt her heart fluttering hearing his honest opinion of her.

"Yes, I like you and want you to see you achieve your dream of proving that you are strong."

Himari's heart was pounding when Yuuki saw this lightly chuckled.

"Though, it's fine to see being quite the glutton and kept on asking for give you hic—"

"Stop there! I don't think I can take it anymore! You win!"

She was flustered from all things he had to say about her and didn't want to faint from all of it while Yuuki nodded, enjoying her adorable reaction. Few minutes later, their meal arrived and began to dig in.

"This is delicious but somewhat lacking and I think yours is better."(Himari)

"Thank you, my sister told me to learn new things instead of continuously training and studying. She often said it's like building a video game character and leveling up as you go on."(Yuuki)

"You've mentioned your sister is included in this strange relationship. How many do you intend to have? Wouldn't you have any time for any of us?"(Himari)

"I don't know and like I said with Shushu, I'll consult with all of you beside my sister who would likely test anyone I get in a relationship with. She said, "I need strong women to be by my side both emotionally and physically."

Himari nodded, noting that she needs to prove herself and already intend to do so when she saw Yuuki to be better than her and wanted to prove that she has the right to be by his side.

"UmU, then it is still the main issue is time with any of us."

"That is true but it's not like you want me to keep spoiling you and be relying on me, do you?"

"....that is true."(Himari)

"Still, if you need me then I'll always be there no matter what." (Yuuki)

Himari nodded somewhat and felt his sincerity in his words and continued their topic where she asked about Kyouka and Nei with him giving the same answer as Shushu.

"What!? You're Kuro Oni!? Does that mean the one who gave you that scar is…"(Himari)

"Yup, your mother and I were 14 at that time. She was scarily strong even if I was holding back."(Yuuki)

"How are you not dead!?"(Himari)

"I'm virtually immortal, when I clone myself and somehow my main body dies then I can revive and possess my clone then boom, I'm alive."(Yuuki)

"... you're a living cheat."

Himari felt her common sense was being broken because of Yuuki who had unbelievable powers that made almost invincible. Yuuki just shrugged it off while Himari deeply sighs.

"That aside, what was my mother like when she fought you?"(Himari)

Despite her abuse, she still loves her family and takes pride in them. Yuuki nodded telling her about how the two of them fought and how he was stabbed by her mother. Himari intently listened and was happy to hear them. After a while, they finished their meal and went to continue their date.

"Still, I can't believe you're the owner of [ Star Nova Industry ]."(Himari)

Yuuki nodded seeing that Himari was starting to feel overwhelmed with all the things that he had been mentioning. Himari couldn't believe that the largest company in the world owned by her date. They continued to take a stroll until they found an open space.

"Where are we going, Yuuki?"(Himari)

"Well, I was planning on going to an amusement park because I thought it would be too boring."(Yuuki)

Yuuki got to an open space where he cloned himself where Himari pondered what he was planning on doing, witnessing his clone transforming into something unexpected and becoming an enormous dragon.

This is from his [ Bio-Absorption Replication ] mixing all the animals that he absorbed and shapeshifted into an amalgamation of then to form a dragon.

"Hop on."

"...I'm not even going to ask."

Himari gave up knowing that he would keep surprising him if she continued to ask him. She hoped into the dragon standing on its back where Himari felt it quite familiar since She already rode on his back every time he transformed into his [ Slave ] form.

"Hold on tight."

She held onto Yuuki as they ascended into the sky where Himari closed her eyes because of the wind pressure until suddenly settled down allowing her to spot an amazing sight. It was the sun setting while they were above the clouds.

"How is it?"

Himari mesmerized by the breathtaking view that she took a moment to appreciate it.

"Beautiful unlike anything I've seen before."

They flew into the sky silently enjoying the moment where Himari decided to take a leap where he looked at Yuuki before pulling him for an affectionate kiss to show her gratitude.

"Thank you for everything, Yuuki, not just for helping me train and before but for believing in me and being patient when I was harsh on you."

"It's nothing really. I'm just happy that you're being honest with me."

Afterwards the two of them continued to make out until they returned back to their homebase where Shushu greeted the two glancing at Himari with a smirk expecting to know how their date went.

Yuuki let them be and went to his quarters to relax since he doesn't plan on doing anything with Himari when she doesn't want to. Meanwhile, Shushu and Himari were chatting, sharing what had happened during her date.

"Oh wow, that sounds amazing! I'll ask Yuu-chan to do it with me next time."( Shushu)

Shushu remarked slightly enviously that she had to experience something like that and didn't make it a big deal before changing the topic.

"So, will you do it with him?"(Shushu)

"...I don't know, I'm not ready and want to find the right time to do it."(Himari)

"If that's how you feel then make sure to not take too long since more and more girls will come for Yuuki."(Shushu)

"W-What!? You think someone already set their eyes on him?"(Himari)

"Yeah, a man with an ability? I doubt there won't be anyone interested. Maybe the 6th unit also interested him now."(Shushu)

"What are you saying!? There's no way my sister will get interested in him."(Himari)

"Maybe not, what about Tenka-san and Sahara-san? You should be more bold or you'll miss the opportunity to shine above them."(Shushu)

Himari wanted to refute but her logic was valid and somewhat jealous thinking that someone else was going to be intimate with him. Shushu saw her thinking and gave a satisfied smile believing that it was enough to push her to seize the moment.

After a while, everyone had their dinner and Yuuki headed back to his room when Himari told him that there was something that she wanted to tell him. The way she was acting made it clear that she had hidden intention and nodded as they went inside his room where Himari looked around as it was the first time she had seen it.

"I can guess why you're here but are you sure? You said everything is moving too fast and don't mind letting you sort things out first."

"...I thought about it and Shushu-chan convinced me that since we've already gone past being intimate doesn't change anything. One way or another things will end up this way."

Himari said where Yuuki walked up to her and kissed the young woman where he pushed her into the bed while Himari wrapped her arms around his shoulder until he pulled back and said.

"Hope you don't regret things later on."
