1 Prologue

It was a well known legend among mortal cultivators. Once you reach past a certain cultivation, you are no longer deemed a mortal and you are allowed to rise above the heavens. Unbeknownst to those same mortals was that there actually existed such a place. A place called the Divine Heavens, a realm consisting out of a dozen worlds. Each world having the purest of Qi allowing their inhabitants to reach spectacular heights. Those worlds were ruled by one main entity, the Imperial Family. Under the Imperial Family stood multiple families, all of them a powerhouse of their own.

One of those families was the Yue clan. They inhabited a world called the Moonlit Steppe, a world that could not be found by anyone not belonging to the clan. The 'Moon' clan consited entirely of women, and no men were alowed to enter their palace. The women ethereal beauties all, often traveled to other worlds in order to cultivate with men. Some, even became pregnant, but never was anyone able sire a male heir. That was until the clan's matriarch miraculously gave birth to a boy.

"Yue Wang Zhi, give back the items my wife gave you and tell me where the Moonlit Steppe can be found! If you do, I might spare your life and that of your mother." A large main said. He had long black hair and wore a black robe adorned with golden ornaments. His words were directed at a young man. His hair was a silver with a white glow, and his eyes were a grey-silverish tint.

"Tch, as if. You have already crippled my Dantian, I would be a fool to believe your words. To think the Emperor was thinking with his stick instead of his head, although I guess in your case it's the same thing, both are very small." The young man retorted, his mouth was covered in his blood, but that didn't stop him from smirking.

"Youuuu insolent brat! I'll find that mother of yours and your aunts will be given to each of my generals! Your sisters will become the playthings of my army and your skull shall be hung around my neck for all to see!" The large men lost his temper, and struck the chest of the young man with his fist.

"Urghh"

*Crack*

The young man's body was thrown back. It was possible to hear something crack, but this time it weren't his ribs. The young man pulled out a white jade amulet, he was wearing around his neck. The jade showed a large line and soon snapped in half. When it snapped a large shockwave was released and the young man's body was covered in a white mist.

"What tricks are you playing boy!" The man wanted to charge at him, but the foce pushing him back was too strong. Every step took all of his strength. A few seconds later the force dispersed and the smoke dissipated. The man's eyes grew large, the spot on which the youn man was laying was empty and he was nowhere to be seen.

"Yue Wang Zhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!"

Somewhere in another place

In a large cave a cloud of white smoke suddenly appeared. It went as quickyl as it came, leaving behind the body of a young man. When the young man opened his eyes he saw that he was in a dimly lit cave. 'This definitely isn't the Divine Heavens, the Qi is way to weak. So I am fated to die in a lowly world, well I hope mother and aunties will do well without me.' His eyes became heavy and his breathing became slower, until it stopped.

[You have died! Focfully awakening Bloodlines!]

[Recipient has been found to be in a critical state. Forcefully activating regeneration... Warning this will permanently drain Qi, Qi levels are dangerously low. Dropping any further will result in complete destruction of the Spiritual Core... Protocol overwritten... using Qi]

"Arghhh, what is going on!?" Yue Wang Zhi was feeling an immense amount of pain. It felt as if every drop of moisture was forcefully being extracted from his body along with every ounce of energy. He could feel his Dantians completely being crushed until he could feel them no more.

A few minutes off intense pain later, his wounds had healed. The cuts and holes in his body had barely been closed, but enough for him to move a little. He had to muster all of his strength to sit i the lotus position. The utter confusion was clearly visible on his face. A few moments ago he felt as if he had died, now however he was looking at a golden screen floating in front of his face. 'What is this?' Yue Wang Zhi had a lot of questions and as if the box heard him, it answered.

[I am your Personal System master]

A text formed in the interface with a reply to the question he had asked in his head. It left him with more questions than answers. How did it hear him? What is a 'Personal System' these were some of the questions floating around in his mind.

[You were on the verge of death. Emergency regeneration was therefore activated, using up all of your internal energy. Sadly your internal energy cores were obliterated in the process.]

'Well, one of them already was destoyed and geting them all destroyed would normally leave you as a corpse. Yet somehow I'm still alive at least. Hah, to live as a Celestial cripple. My sisters would surely make fun of me. Well, I guess I'll ever see them again. I hope they don't worry too much." Yue Wang Zhi showed a dejected smile. He had no choice, but ti accept his fate. The system however had other reservations.

Yue Wang Zhi's eyes lit up, this was beyond his wildest expectations? Why did the empress give him these boundless treasures? These items were of the highest grade, they were most likely locked up thight in the Imperial Vault. Yue Wang Zhi put the other questions at the back of his mind and returned to the one at hand. 'Repair my broken energy cores? To think there would be an ability like that.' He didn't hesitate, since he had nothing to lose from this and everything to gain. Het mustered some strength and clicked yes.

Upon receiving permission, the system sprang into action. Like a radiant beacon, a resplendent golden string of light materialized out of thin air, enveloping the pills in its shimmering embrace. A spark of excitement ignited within Yue Wang Zhi as he witnessed the pills being swallowed by the ethereal glow. As a celestial being, he had spent his entire existence in the exalted realm of the Divine Heavens, bearing witness to countless marvels and phenomena. Yet, this spectacle was unlike anything he had ever encountered before, an extraordinary occurrence that stirred a sense of wonder deep within his celestial essence.

As the pills dissolved within him, a comforting warmth spread throughout Yue Wang Zhi's body. He could feel the areas where his dantians used to be growing warm. It felt as if they were being restored, and something more was happening too! They were being filled up. 'I-it's boosting my cultivation and fixing my cores at the same time?! This means I won't have to start from the beginning!'

The when he accepted the systems proposal he had expected that whilst his cores might get restored, he would have to start from the mortal realm. He was born as an immortal and therefore never experienced the mortal realm before. He was a curious individual, but the prospect of starting of as a mortal didn't intrigue him in the slightest. But there was something going on... he could feel something shift through his body.

"System?"

*Ding*

[Yes, master?]

"What is going on with my body, this qi... it does not feel normal. And my body I can feel it changing slightly, as if it's preparing for something?"

[... You are correct master, the system has forcefully awakened your two dormant bloodlines. It is also forcefully changing the: Celestial Void Breathing Technique and the Celestial Devouring Technique in order to create perfect compatibility with you.]

"You can do that?"

[...Yes, the system can imprint techniques it consumes into your mind. In emergencies it is even able to forcefully apply/consume certain techniques or pills in order for the benefit of you master. This is one such occasions. The system has merged and changed two techniques into one technique that has a greater effect and compatibility.]

"I think I understand, but what did it turn into?"

[The two techniques were of a extremely rare tier and could not have been learned or used if you weren't in these circumstances.]

"Why not?"

[Well, these Celestial techniques can only be learned by someone who has not cultivated before. This would mean someone would need to be a mortal. A mortal would die instantly however, as the pureness and the amount of qi you would cultivate would overflow them. You however have Celestial blood and a Divine cultivation technique tailored to you. The Five moons breathing technique allows you to store Qi in your entire body and slowly consume it, it also restricts you to an amount your body can handle.]

"I see. So if the celestial techniques are ravenous beasts, the five moons technique works as a leash and a muzzle."

[That terminology is correct. So by combining these 3 techniques, it creates a ultimate Celestial technique never seen before, not even in the records of the Heavens. What would you like to name it?]

Cultivation didn't without risks. If one used a technique incompatible with their special body, it could prove deadly. Yue Wang Zhi had the Divine moon body. Allowing him to form moons which he could fill with Qui acting as a reserve or storage. It also granted him fine pale skin and enchanting features.

"Since it's a mix let's call it the Celestial Moonlight Breathing Technique."

[Very well. Now it is time for your bloodlines to be released fully, using the remaining pill essence. This will hurt... a lot.]

"What do you me- Aaaarghhh"

Yue Wang Zhi was engulfed in an excruciating torment that seemed to emanate from the depths of the underworld itself. It was as if a relentless force was simultaneously crushing every bone within his body. Agonizing spasms wracked his muscles, causing them to contort and shift visibly beneath his skin. His once silver eyes now flickered, oscillating between fiery red and radiant blue, only to return to their original gleaming silver hue. Even his hair underwent a bewildering transformation, constantly shifting between shades of silvery white and pristine white.

The intensity of the pain surpassed anything he had ever experienced before, swiftly overwhelming him. It didn't take long for the unbearable torment to overpower his senses, ultimately forcing him into an unconscious state.
