Keiko couldn't believe her eyes. She reached over, as the wind-made wall spun in long gusts behind her. The warrior took off one of the man's gauntlets, reached over, and touched Satsuhiro's wrist to see if she could feel a pulse. Nothing. The cold feeling of his skin sent chills all throughout Keiko's body. Once she realized that he was well and truly dead, Keiko froze.

As naive as it may have been, Keiko hadn't truly believed that anyone from their group would die tonight. She understood that it was something that could happen, but, given the fact that she was friends with some of the strongest people in the world, she had believed that things would just... work out somehow.
