Ash

Ash really did think that what happened with Keiko in Amber would be the end of her potential kid-related dilemmas. She had pushed it out of her mind to focus on the tasks she'd received since then, but she could still remember the subtle feeling of heartbreak that she'd gotten when she and Keiko avoided becoming mothers in the middle of a demonic war. 

Now, she was feeling something different. She couldn't quite pinpoint it, but it was there, in the back of her mind as she lay down between Kaori and Keiko in the nighttime. She couldn't really sleep, as Kaori's words made sure that anytime she got close to falling into her dreams, her heart would start drumming and she'd toss or turn, keeping her awake. 

As a result, by the time the next day arrived, Ash was visibly tired. Metsumi, Luvine, Opah, Sinneah, Yumi, Ash, and her girlfriends all gathered around the kitchen table to have breakfast.
