Duel
Alexandra Maris POV
As I arrive in the room, Vary and Headmistress Anne sitting on the couch, "Is there something wrong?" I asked upon my arrival.
"Take a seat first," HM Anne offered, I take a sit.
"It is about your brother" Vary stated, the atmosphere begins to tense
"did he died" I confronted, giving them a serious look
"He nearly died, its good thing that Agaser is with him, they just arrived. They are in the Infirmary, badly wounded both of them" the Headmistress mumbled.
"I see, I that all why did you call me?" I asked
"I need you to catch a glimpse of their memory," she said
"okay" I answered and the three of us leaves the office and headed to the infirmary.
When we arrive at the infirmary we headed to my brother's room, and the two of them were looking badly.
"Should I start?' and they nodded, and I begin to cast the spell
"Memory Magic: Foretold" a magic circle appeared in their forehead, and smoke comes out and revealing a glimpse of memory.
"You need to hurry, Doris," Marlon said, while my brother is setting up a blue ball.
"You think you can escape" a woman appeared in front of them, a necromancer.
"Seize them" the women ordered, a group of skeletons appeared and started attacking them.
"I'm done," Doris said and both they started running,
"Oh darling I won't allow you to leave" she raised her hands and golems, appeared in front of them.
The golem raised their hands, but before they could smash them Doris created a barrier, "ugh" he moaned.
"I will not allow you to leave that easily" and she gathers a magic particle on tip of her staff and pointed to them.
She releases the magic particle creating a beam before the barrier breaks down they teleported back to University port. And the clouds disappear
"Then you should ask them when they wake up," I said.
"Thank you for the cooperation," Headmistress Anne said, then I leave the Infirmary.
I wonder what kind of mission they did, maybe they spy something since both of them are good at Stealth missions.
I grab my lunch and returned to our room to have another class. As I arrive at the room all of them are wearing their combat uniform since I told them, to
"Follow me," I said, and we leave the room and walks to the teleporter.
"We're we heading?" Luke asked
"We are heading to Arena Dome, step up in the circle platform," and all of them disintegrate and disappear. I step on the platform and teleported into the arena.
"Welcome to Arena Dome, Arena of the University," I said.
"This is big" Zane exclaimed
There are some students here, sitting in the chairs and some are training with profs.
Some notice our arrival, and stop there doing, I wave to the proofs and all of them nod. And they moved.
"What's happening?" Conner questioned, while the rest in the field of the arena started moving away and sitting in the arena
"I rented today's arena, so for today it's only us who gonna use the Arena, you'll be having a duel, that's why get your number here" and I offered them a fishbowl containing rolled papers,
"The same number will fight each other" I instructed and each of them grabs a number.
"8," Zein and Conner said simultaneously
"2" Zane
"7" Luke
"I thought this is a duel," Luke said
"Yes, but I said the person who has the same number as you, I didn't say that you have to have an actual same with," I explained.
"So who are we fighting with?" Zane asked
"You'll see, for now, we will be witnessing the battle of Zein and Conner" and we headed to the seated on the upper bench to see them above.
"For the battle, for 30 minutes, give it all you can, killing is not allowed so you have to hold for a while" I announce and all of them nod.
"Let the Duel Begin," an automated voice machine said, and the field changed into a rocky place.
Third-person POV
Once the Bell rang, the two of them run circles chasing each other.
"Nature's Magic Tree World" Conne cast, Large tree began to sprout in the whole fields. Both of them stop running as the Tree grows wildly.
"Taking over the field eh" Maris commented
"Nice move" Luke complimented
"Go, Brother!" Zane cheered
"Nature's Magic: One with Nature" Conner connect his fingertips and closed his eyes, Vines started to cover him and turn into a large tree.
Zein started jumping on the trees finding Conner, 'that man' he said to his man, jumping from one another to another.
Before he can land on the next tree, vines started to sprout on trees and envelopes on his feet. The vine moved and started swinging around.
"Flame reimbursement" Zein cast, a flaming butterfly was created in the flames he cast, the butterflies on the veins and started to get burned.
"You will not win" a body grew in a tree,
"Conner" Zein called.
Half of his body was out.
"What a wonderful Spell, a spell that can unite within nature," A student from the audience said.
'Nature's magic: one with nature is a spell that enables you to connect with nature, to your surroundings, it's a spell that can only be used by a person who has a deep connection with nature, once you're connected to nature, you could sense all.
"Your Magic is sure amusing," Zein said while evading the attacks of vines.
In "Nature's Magic: Bloom of the filthy Flowers" a dozen of flowers bloom, red flowers that emit green gas.
"Poison," Luke said.
Zein created flame wings and started to fly above, some vines started to follow him but all of that turns into ashes, the vines can't handle the flames of his wings.
"Your vines won't reach from here."
Zein flew from above and started casting the spell "Elemental refuge: Flames" his eye changed color to scarlet red.
"Flame of Enigma: Firefly" a swarm of fireflies started to fly towards the huge forest, causing the forest to flames.
"I wonder if you could go out in that flames," Zein said.
Conner smirked "you must be forgetting something" a dark cloud started to appear above him
"What does he mean," Zane said
"Of course, Nature is not just land but also the sky, wind, and rocks that mean before the duel started Conner has the card of Ace" A teacher showed up,
"Sir Doris" Luke and Zane Called.
"You better?" Maris asked.
