When the box reached link, the sealed artifact inside seemed to be summoned and broke out of the box.

A palm-sized triangular object flew into Link's hand.

Without waiting for link to examine it, the triangular object stuck itself to his chest. The paper-thin object quickly expanded and spread, covering his entire body in a layer of black armor.

There were intricate energy lines on the black armor. The blue energy flowed along the lines. Link felt that the energy in his body was being guided. Whether it was the release of energy or the quality, both had improved.
