The Girl Under The Rubble

This scene shows the unknown dark space. There's no sound in this space until a small rock hits the round. After a while, some of the rubble falls from above, revealing the sunlight along with the blue sky.

As more of the rubble falls, the sunlight spreads further into the dark space, revealing the figure of the girl who's got crushed under the rubble. Everything about her is hidden except for her legs which connected to her body.

Soon, the girl lifted up the rubble and pushed them away. The girl was standing on her two feet, with bruises, scratches, and also some obvious broken joints from the bone. The girl can barely move her hand as she tries to reach for something hanging on her hips.

"Huh? This sucks..."

Soon, it was just to be filled with disappointment. Meryna, is a bit upset because the glass bottle she's trying to reach for is shattered in pieces. She tried to search for the other bottle, but all of them were also shattered to pieces when she got trapped under the rubble.

"Huh? This truly sucks... Is this what they call karma? Oh well~"

The first step Meryna took led to the fall. After she got up, she realized that her body along with her eye was pierced by the rebar. Seeing she almost had no energy to get up she almost gave up for it, she took a deep breath and put all of her strength to pull herself from the rebar.

She finally back on her two feet again, with the holes in her torso and also her left eye.

"It's a shame truly~ When Derugo kicked me out of the building, It only gave a few bones broken on me. I had no arms and legs at that time so I was searching for the replacement."

As it shows the first time she got up, Meryna's hand was made of one joint metal bars. Meanwhile, her legs were made of a few wood planks tied up together with her thread to make a strong support that weighed Meryna's body.

"And then~ When I make my way back to the building, Derugo out of nowhere just throws that building to me~ I mean, how can he even lift that? Oh well~ it looks like I'll have to avoid him for a while and make myself a way to Ten afterall~"

After she said it to herself, with the first step, some blood came out from the wound she received from Derugo, and also from her clumsy self that's pierced by the rebar. People who see her might think she's struggling to walk with no knee but only planks, but as the others know it, she's still walking...

"Ah, shit! Take cover!" Shouts Rio as he drags Mika by his arm and takes cover on the rubble standing near them. Rio looked over the cover and saw Derugo who was filled with wrath as he destroyed most part of the city looking for both of them. 

Looking at Derugo, Rio didn't even dare think he could ambush him while fighting him. But at the same time, Rio noticed something...

"It's weird, he didn't intend to use Purple Fire to burn the whole city. Instead, blindly lifting up and then throwing the building... Wait, he could be aware of his power and use it when he needs to. Furthermore, his current goal is the destruction of the city in order to kill both of us. In any way, Ten most likely knew about the Purple Fire and called him through the walkie-talkie when Derugo first used it."

They both keep hiding behind the giant rubble, keeping themself out of Derugo's sight. As they both were hiding as prey to the purple monster, Rio looked at the giant building. But at the same time, his eyes also diverted to the boundary of Deathless World.

"Listen, Mika, Our first option is to go back inside the building and reunite with Ryuma and Kiyo any way we can. The other option is to run away and go outside of the boundary. Although it's risky, I prefer to run away to the outside-"

"Oh, you're not running anywhere dipshit..."

"What?!" Rio, hearing a familiar voice which he wished he didn't want to, the fear surrounded his body as his head diverted towards the voice. But it was already late when Rio got punched in the guts, sending him colliding with a few concrete rubbles.

Mika, sees Rio got punched a few miles away, and he diverts his attention to Derugo.

"You-"

Before Mika saw it, he felt the great force crushing the front part of his skull as he was sent flying to the back. Derugo flew away over to Mika and landed in front of him. As he was walking, Derugo noticed the rebar and pulled it from the concrete.

He reached Mika who was on his back. Mika tries to struggle by trying to make Derugo fall as he hits his ankle, but it is no use. Derugo lifted his leg and crushed Mika's arm. Locking it in the place. With the rebar in his hand, Derugo was aiming for Mika's brain.

The place Mika can't heal it passively, it was the brain that Derugo tried to destroy it. But at that moment, Derugo sighed in disappointment with an irritating look on his face.

"Could you... Fuck off and take a break you fuck?!!" Shouted Derugo as he swung the rebar to his back. On impact, the flow of electricity surrounded the place. Meanwhile, the rebar Derugo was holding, was cut in an instant by the blade imbued with the same aura of electricity surrounding the area.

The blade hit Derugo's skin, which was harder than Mythril. At that moment, Derugo could feel the pain unlike for a few attempts of his futile attacks. But this one managed to inflict pain on Derugo he tried to back off.

As Derugo backed off, he noticed the slash between his shoulder to his rib. The blood comes out from the wound. Although it didn't finish him off, the owner of the blade, Rio, was satisfied with this result.
