The Deciding Fate

Ryuma, gazing upon the figure with a serious expression. The figure, Kochigawa Tennisuke who's waiting for the arrival of the two after spared them both. While taking a smoke he takes his time walking in Ryuma's direction. Then stop in almost at the center of the roof.

On the front of Ten, Ryuma noticed the safe with the manual lock on it.'Since when it was there?' The question comes to Ryuma's mind as he takes the first step forward. But that comes to a stop once Ten aims his M9 at Ryuma.

Gazing at the murky and pitch-black eyes, Ryuma couldn't tell what was on his mind. Ten, taking another smoke before he speaks again...

"Right now we're on the top floors of 'Noritan's' company building which is the most biggest and successful company in the Twin Kingdom. They usually sell your everyday necessities based on their technology. Like microwave or blender. Soon they moved to the bigger project by selling communication tools..."

Ten shows the walkie-talkie inside his pocket to Ryuma.

"And then their company got bigger and they start selling cars and stuff-"

"Ok, stop. I don't know what that information has any relation with us now." Hearing Ryuma's words, Ten only stand there, looking at him while taking another puff of his smoke.

"Nothing related to this I'll be honest, I thought you were interested in some geography..."

(I don't know what this guy is actually doing right now... It's like he's stalling for something.")

"*Sigh* Right now, the temperature around us is about 16.7 Degrees. It's quite cloudy right now so there's no sunlight. And lack of sunlight makes this place quite cold..."

At that moment, Ryuma noticed the breath coming out from Ten. At the same time, Ryuma noticed the temperature was changing as he felt his body gets colder. 

"No, I should say we're almost at 0 Degrees right now..." The source of the massive cold was unknown. Ten, Taking yet another puff of the cigarette, Ten stares at the safe. He put his foot on the side of the safe and pushed it using the bottom of his feet. Second after, the safe was nowhere to be seen.

"Now... You're officially lost." Said Ten with a poker straight face with the cigarette in his mouth.

"Until you somehow found that safe yourself, you're stuck with us inside this city now."

The safe which contains a doll, Ryuma's team objective, has slipped away in front of him just like that. With the question in mind, Ryuma started by asking why Ten did so. But...

"Stop, I know what you're trying to say. The answer is... There's no way in hell would I let you win, aren't I? Ten taking another puff of his cigarette, aims his gun at Ryuma's head.

*BANG!*

Ten pulled the trigger, and the bullet passed through Ryuma hitting the door. Although the bullet never hit him, to begin with. No reaction from Ryuma, he's perfectly understands that bullets aren't for him.

"So... Are you sure you're ready right now? Are you really mentally prepared? Because I can wait for him to awake first-" Ten refers to Kiyo, who's still unconscious.

"No, There's no need for that." Ryuma rejects Ten's proposal to wait for Kiyo to wake up and get it done with it. Ten was silence for a moment until the words came out of his mouth.

".... Then so be it."

All this time, all the reasons for his actions all this time remain unknown. Ryuma thought in mind, 'Why did he tell about his non-attribute self? What's the reason he spares Kiyo and me? There has gotta be the reason for this.' Ryuma once again starts with the first step...

But Ryuma got shot in the head as he took a first step. But, that was all his vision from 'Predict'. The ability to foresight through instinct. The real bullet didn't hit him or anything. But in that span of a moment, as if he was teleporting, Ryuma managed to get inside Ten's close range.

Ryuma throws the punch aiming for Ten's head. But like any other attack before, Ten dodged it. That's what Ten thought, inside the fist lies the Firefly as Ryuma opens his palm. Exploding Ten along with himself.

The explosion causes the area to be covered with smoke and dust. As for the condition of the two, Ryuma covered a part of himself with the concrete which protected him from the explosion. Meanwhile, Ten has no scratch on any part of his body.

Even if there was no scratch, Ryuma noticed the bleeding on Ten's ear which was caused by the sound impact from Firefly. Ten noticed the bleeding and quickly brushed it off with the arm cloth. 

The two continue to stand off each other, blow after blow. Dodging and then counter, everything happens in a span of 47 seconds until one of them is able to land a hit.

Ten shot Ryuma on the tight, removing his ability to move freely on foot. That's if Ryuma can't move freely, he dashes on Ten and tries to give a blow on the torso part. Ten evaded the blow by backing off by an inch as he tried to shoot Ryuma.

But at that time, Red Fire emanating from his right hand which is failed to land a blow. Second later, the hand blows up directly in Ten's direction. Ten is only barely able to avoid taking damage by using his mirror portal. But Ten also realized some of the attack hit both of his elbows along to shoulder part. Only barely.

Ten sees the situation seems to be in Ryuma's favor, so he aims the gun to the floor. Ryuma was confused by his action. But at the same time, something clicked inside Ryuma's mind.

(Don't tell me...)

Ryuma can feel himself in danger as he dashes to the side. And then, Ten releases a few shots on the floor. Five shots in total. But, two of the shots hit Ryuma on the leg and one on the rib.

(Kuh! He used the mirror portal to send the bullet to me! Now, both of my legs have been shot, and I can't move swiftly like earlier. That's it, if there's still a bullet in me...)
