For more than half of the day, Monke could only daydream and barely focus on class. At the first break, around 10 am he went to see the secretary at the student council office. He also brought Joao along with two other guys from their class with him.

"Secretary, I need answers," Monke said as he boldly burst through the doors.

"For the last time. IT'S AI DRAGON!" The secretary screamed as he spun his chair around to face the door. As soon as he saw Monke his heart got lodged in his throat and his body immobilized by the excess blood rushing through his veins.

"Yo." Monke waved.

"Yello, Mr. Dragon," Joao said as he walked up from behind Monke.

The secretary had nothing to say, or rather he couldn't say anything at all. He lowered his head and whimpered.

"A simple hello would suffice," Monke said as he walked in and went to the couch at the end of the room. "Why do you think we were attacked on Monday?"

"Turf wars?" The secretary answered with both feet on the chair and his arms around them.

"How about you put on your headphones and look the other way when you talk?"

The secretary nodded and complied, after facing his computer screen Monke asked him again.

"Why do you think we were attacked on Monday?"

"I can think of three reasons. One, considering that they directly attacked your residence it might be to keep you from winning the martial arts tournament which is just around the corner. Two they are stupid and three, to hide something." The secretary boldly said.

"Whoa," Monke clapped his hands. "Joao said the same thing, you guys should hang out sometime."

Joao snarled at Monke and glanced over to the secretary only to find out that he also wasn't thrilled by the suggestion. The secretary glared at Joao for a second and looked back at his screen.

"Make that two reasons then."

"Why?"

"So far we have no reason to believe that all of this has happened because of a lapse in judgment or was a decision taken by someone incompetent. They did this as a warning to show you that they can easily move into our territory whenever they want."

Monke tried to counter but Joao started talking, "why haven't they started attacking then? The Capo and his legion return on Saturday, or what you're saying is that they are now powerful enough to take down Divinity in one day?" Joao said as he sat on one of the chairs surrounding a table in the middle of the room.

The secretary yet again turned to glare at Joao, 'that was stupid.' He thought to himself, "Were you born here?" He asked.

"That is irrelevant to the issue at hand."

"Inner circle, got it. Anyway, I didn't want to cause an uproar but I think that there is an imposter among us." He finally turned the chair around to face Joao.

"How did you figure that out?" Monke asked.

"After tracking down the student council I took the leisure to go through their phones, there was also that other phone I got from Po. One of the student councilor's phones was used to call you guys and since all calls made through a government network are automatically recorded I was able to hear the whole imposter thing."

"Do you think that it could be one of the council members?"

"I don't know, I haven't told them that we know. Since they haven't said anything about the imposter since their return. In my personal opinion," and glared back at Joao. "The student council has been following you around too long to betray you, it must be someone who feels small, unappreciated and odd."

"But why would someone like that opt to go to a side thirsting for revenge, wouldn't they treat him far worse than this one?" Joao folded his arms and crossed his legs while leaning back on his chair.

"Who knows, history proves that controlling a coward doesn't take much effort."

Joao looked over to Monke and found him chin down. "I just want to know who to punch." Monke said.

"Unfortunately it won't be that easy. We can only wait for the spy to give themselves up, for now you'll just have to get your legion to look for anyone with a bullet wound." Joao said.

"That might be a good idea, if we were sure that the spy was hit. Now, we aren't. Plus the spy could also be the guy who fired the gun. Let's just watch everyone who was there, including the vice captain's legion."

"Who is going to watch them?" Monke asked.

"They will watch themselves."

"How."

"Leave it to me." The secretary smiled and spun back around. "By the way you guys are five minutes late to your next class."

Monke panicked and ran out of the student council office abandoning those he came with. Joao followed behind but upon reaching the hallway, he turned around and went towards the computer lab. The teacher who normally teaches the class isn't always around so Joao thought it would be okay to let Monke sit in an empty classroom until he realises that no one is coming.

Monke slept.

At the end of the day, Joao and the other two guys who went along with him and Monke to the student council were tasked with patrolling the area for any suspicious behaviour.

And wasn't a difficult task because they were given a small space to explore. There was no doubt that all three of them were excited about this. If all goes well, they'll be soldiers by the end of the month and Joao will probably be allowed to join Monke's legion.

As the three of them walked out of the school Joao gave one last look at the sky and smiled. 'It was just like this back then when we met.'

"How much do you trust that guy?" The man covered in the darkness paused and turned to look back. "Tumi!"
