Chapter 8- Special Mission

Going home, Hikaru arrived back at the house and saw the two weren't home yet, knowing this, Hikaru changed his clothes then went to check the ingredients they had left.

There were few left, 2 canned tuna, some eggs, and nothing else.

"Oh, the two must have gone to buy ingredients"

Hikaru immediately realized, just as Hikaru was looking at these two ingredients, he suddenly noticed his brain is functioning fast, multiple recipes started appearing on his mind, he checked the other ingredients and took them.

He took some flour, Bread crumbs, and took two canned tuna and eggs. The first thing he did was break 2 pieces of egg and put it on a bowl, then followed with bread crumbs and then he added the two canned tuna.

He then mixed it up until it was mixed very well, he then kneaded it to a patty size, then stored it in a container and covered it with foil, Hikaru then put it inside the freezer which needed to be done for 20 minutes.

While those were going on, Hikaru started cleaning the rice before putting it on the rice cooker. The next thing he did was to prepare three plates. He put bread crumbs on the other plate, flour in another and egg on the other.

After 20 minutes, Hikaru took the thing he made earlier from the freezer, he then covered the tuna patty with flour then went to egg, then bread crumbs, he did it in all 3 pieces of tuna patty then fried the three until they turned golden in color.

Hikaru then looked at the time and saw he still had time.

"I can make a sauce then and make fried rice also"

Hikaru then heated up the pan when it was all heated up, he first put the butter, and waited it to melt, he then added the leftover flour he used earlier, then added a little bit of water, soy sauce and pepper, he then started mixing it until it turned into brown color which is now a gravy.

Hikaru then set it aside and started doing the fried rice, he just made a simple fried rice and it was done in just a few minutes.

*Ding!

Hikaru received a system notification but he ignored it as Kashima and Kotarou arrived carrying a bag full of groceries, the moment Kashima entered inside, he immediately smelled something.

"We are home! Eh? Is Nii-chan cooking?"

Kashima said in surprise, if he remembers correctly, the last time their brother cooked was 8 years ago and it was quite delicious for Kashima.

The two then entered the house and went towards the kitchen, there they saw Hikaru already filling the table with plates.

"Welcome back, come let's eat dinner"

Hikaru said with a warm smile when he saw the two of them.

All of his choices are quite amazing on their own but Hikaru is aiming to win the Dengeki so he must choose the best of the best.

It didn't take long for Hikaru to arrive at his school and when he arrived, he noticed, there was no one in the classroom yet.

Hikaru was confused, he then looked at his phone and saw it was actually still early, no wonder Kotarou was still sleepy earlier, well, he have a lot of time to think thanks to that so he sat on his seat and started thinking about the 3 stories.
