Modern Family: Genius

Gabriel is 5 years old. After he was born he was raised in an orphanage. He is what you would call a genius. On a fateful day when he was 5 years old, he started to see memories of another person. He saw them like it was a movie. He saw many things. Gabriel realized that these memories were probably from his past life. Through these memories, Gabriel realized how terribly he was treated in the orphanage. He ran away. Gabriel saw an abandoned house and lived there for a night. After waking up the next day he suddenly met the neighbors of this house Phil and Claire Dunphy, whom he realized were in the memories of his past life. Phil and Claire were worried after seeing how he lived and decided to adopt him. The young boy would slowly start to trust people again in the future thanks to his parents. The description isn't good. I know that. I racked my brain but couldn't find anything better. The world will be a mix of various different TV shows and movies. The MC will be a genius. Yes, I know it is incredibly hard to portray a genius character not being as smart as him, but I will try my best to narrow the gap with the help of the internet. Due to that, my updates will probably take longer than on my other novels as I need more time to research.

No shit

The day after the waterpark was pretty boring. We only played some sports, and Lenny showed us a few basketball tricks. I got bored pretty quickly and started reading.

The interesting thing happened that night.

I was going down the stairs to get some water. The other adults had kept me up the whole night. It was about 2 a.m., and they finally stopped.

When I was completely downstairs, I saw Higgins mumbling something in his sleep. He was probably drunk by the looks of it.

After I put the water back in the fridge, I heard two people coming down. I hid behind the counter as I would probably get in trouble for staying up so late. I didn't want to bother with that.

Soon, I heard the voices of the two people who had come downstairs.

It was Lenny and Lamonsoff.

They took milk out of the fridge and began drinking it like crazy. They talked about some place called Saskatchetoon and their wives.

After they were finally finished, I was relieved.

Suddenly, they stopped by the couch where Higgins was sleeping.

"Having no responsibilities, being all drunk and carefree, he should deserve a little punishment," Lamonsoff said with a smirk, looking at Lenny.

Lenny also smirked, and they started playing with Higgins.

First, they woke him up and then pretended to be his mother.

It was hilarious.

The funniest part was that Higgins was so drunk he even believed it.

The highlight came at the end, though.

Lamonsoff and Lenny put Higgins into the closet and told him it was his bedroom and bathroom. The closet was also where Curly, Lamonsoff's dog, stayed.

After that, they finally went upstairs.

I silently went up the stairs and got back into the room.

After that, I started to sleep soundly as everyone finally went to bed.

The next day, we all woke up pretty early.

We put the flagpole up and looked at the sea.

Under the small platform we were standing on, a turtle was swimming by.

After that, we all went to get breakfast while the mothers were sewing jerseys for the boys. They were going to play a rematch against the guys from the restaurant and the waterpark.

While they were doing that, Higgins suddenly walked out of the closet.

He had a breast pump attached to his left nipple and was still completely confused.

"What did you do last night? Sleep in the closet?" Roxanne asked Higgins jokingly.

"I had a dream where I made out with a hot blonde. She was kinda hairy," Higgins said with a smile, thinking back on it.

Suddenly, Curly walked out of the closet.

We all started to laugh simultaneously.

After that, my hunger died down, and I wandered around the house for quite some time.

Suddenly, I saw Lenny playing some games with Rob and Lamonsoff.

I watched them play, but then Higgins showed up.

It was all good until Rob's daughter showed up on the pier about 10 yards/meters away from where we were sitting.

Everything was fine until Higgins told us something.

"So, I made out with that hot chick, very tall and long legs. We shook the bed, and suddenly the painting above the bed fell onto her head. It cut her," Higgins said, while Rob's daughter was waving at us. She matched the description and had a cut on her head.

"I'm tired. Marcus, your snoring kept me up all night long," she said. That was the catalyst.

"HOW COULD YOU?" Rob started screaming and rushing at Higgins.

Higgins ran away.

It didn't take long for the chase to end a few seconds later.

Higgins and Rob were on the small platform we were on early in the morning and were on the fence. He wanted to jump into the water but was scared by the turtle that was still in the water.

Luckily, Lenny and the others held him back.

At that moment, everyone who was still in the house was already watching the chaos.

"What did I do?" Higgins asked Rob.

"What you did?! YOU SHOOK THE BED WITH MY DAUGHTER," Rob screamed while kicking Higgins in the crotch. The problem was, it was his injured foot. Because of that, they both suddenly lay down in pain.

Just when the atmosphere eased a little, Rob's daughter Jasmine came up and told her dad that she didn't sleep with Higgins.

The atmosphere was easing slightly, but suddenly Rob's Asian daughter Amber came up and said, "I heard his snoring too."

Rob was angered again and kicked Higgins in the crotch again. He didn't learn from his mistakes and used his injured foot again.

After that, Rob's third daughter came up and explained everything. Higgins was just snoring way too loud, and he was sleeping in the closet, which was under their bedroom.

When that problem was finally solved, some other issues suddenly came up.

This is a very long story, so I'll just summarize briefly.

Lenny lied to Roxanne about something. They forgave each other soon after.

Deanne thought McKenzie liked Lenny's nanny, Rita. They too forgave each other after a heartfelt conversation.

Lamonsoff told us all the truth. He wasn't the co-owner of a store; he just rented the Cadillac.

For the last one, I need to tell a slightly longer story.

Rob told us about his toupee.

Suddenly, Rita said, "No shit," and rolled her eyes.

We all started laughing. After this conversation, the atmosphere in the house was even better than before all the issues came up.

No one had to carry any lies with them anymore.
