16. Soul weapon

After killing sam in most gruesome way possible ant king killed the remaining players and went back to his mother the ant queen to see if she is alive, but she was in a state close to death, unconscious and shallow breathing.

Jack after seeing the state of ant king and queen ran multiple scenarios in his mind of how to bring both the king and queen to his side and restore both to their optimal form, and a solution popped in his head but that was on the base of giving up on a legendary item and jack was unwilling so he ran his head again but in the same direction and a gamble with his new ability was only solution he came with,

after a while he has two choices to sacrifice his future plan and save both or make a gamble but he have to act fast.

While ant king was lamenting about his incomplete form jack came out of his hiding and said

"I can save the ant queen and your mother and let her name you but I need something in return"

Ant king after hearing the first half of the sentence was instantly delighted but after hearing the full sentence he understood that this human knows much more than others and is telling the truth, and he knew what he was going to ask in return will be a dear one, but he didn't want to live as a uncrowned king of ants with no power or army to rule, this will be a bigger disgrace than dying .

He said

" Human, if you save my mother as long as she names me i will do anything you ask for"

"No, you need to do it before I save your mother and decide fast you only few minutes left of her life" jack alerted,

Ant kings eyes became red but he didn't want to live as a husk of his glory so he agreed.

"Ok, tell me what do you want '

"Give me your soul stone" jack said casually,

Ant king looked at him with red eyes about attack him, although he has just born he knows soul stone is most important thing for his being and once taken out the being dies in few seconds and the human was telling him to die to save his mother, even he would have asked him to serve him and made a contract he would have agreed but now he couldn't.

" Don't worry you won't die for at least next 10 minutes and maybe I will save your mother until then" jack said casually,

Ant king was furious at his casual remarks but he ripped his soul stone from his body and threw it towards jack, and his hp started depleting and he took rest on the ground but his shadow started flickring.

Jack threw a food he bought from earth towards the king, and asked him to consume it the king ate it a little and his hp restored a little, he looked at jack with a little assured look and was not as hostile as before.

Jack pocketed the stone and walked towards queen and feed her the same item but in liquid form as a hp potion and then he went towards the golden tree and started punching the main trunk.

The ant king saw everything jack was doing and didn't stop him from punching the tree becouse his skill "true guardian" was locked so he felt nothing towards the tree.

After a minute jack punched a hole in the tree and brought a round core like thing from the tree which was shining with golden light and scanned it

Jack was reluctant to part from even one of both effects but to save ant queen he has to sacrifice this golden chance, but before appearing in front of ant king he had a idea and after reading the description of the core with his ability he can do it.

He came close to the ant queen and opened her armour around her chest and opened the skin to reveal her soul stone and used his ability of soul warrior with both the core and soul stone of the ant queen and a blinding golden light shot out making jack and ant king close their eyes for a brief second.

Jack focused more energy towards the core to power it up and get his desired results.

Ant king opened his eyes first and saw his mother close to him smilling at him and touching his hairs and giving him a name and making him a true king and then vanishing inside the humans soul.

The king didn't care too much about this because his skills and status was now unlocked and now he was king of his destiny he will kill the human and take his soul stone back, but one of his skill true guardian has also unlocked which was planned by jack to keep him in check if some thing like this happened, and the ant king bowed down to jack after the skill activation, who now has the core of the golden tree inside his soul along with the ant queens soul.

After the blinding light jack closed his eyes and didn't see any thing but he could perceive the movements of the ant queens soul and has understood what had happened but just a second after that he got series of messages which made first shiver run down his spine, suprised and then happy.
