'Yea I'm not winning this one' 

However, running away now could give the other players a chance to find this place, thus the quest which I did not want. 

"So you're the one that was snooping around the offi-," 

William slowly got up, however, as he was about to speak I activated [Flame Arrow] and shot it at his face. 

*BOOM*

A little smoke filled the room however, as it cleared I saw a red-faced man emerging from the smoke. 

'Well that failed'

"Kill him!"

All of the other kobolds then charged toward me causing me to raise my staff.

"Explode," 

Small orbs appeared around the room near the kobolds.

*BOOOM*

A great explosion happened allowing me to use [Dash] to move around the room in front of the first group of kobolds. Using [Flameforge] I was able to dispatch the first kobold however, I quickly slammed my staff on the floor creating a barrier around me.

A dozen spears landed on the barrier causing me to let out a breath. Quickly activating dash I was able to get out of the incirclement. 

"Explode," 

In the place where I first was a small orb of light. The next second a great explosion happened. However, to my disappointment, there weren't any notifications meaning I hadn't killed any of them.

But when the smoke cleared I saw the kobolds who were injured. 

I then saw something that almost made me cry.

'Why are they regenerating? Why?'

More orbs of light appeared which was followed by more explosions. The expected notification appeared soon after.

However, I then used [Dash] allowing me to dodge the attacks that were aimed at me but then a feeling that resembled a pinch appeared near my shoulder.

[-20 HP]

Turning I was able to see a spear that was poking out of my shoulder. 

Quickly using [Fireblast] I made a small orb appear near the kobold's face. 

"Explode," 

A small explosion happened followed by a notification. 

[You've killed [Maniacal Kobold lvl 15]!]

Using [Dash] I was able to move around dodging the spears and swords. Once I made it to a spot I activated Flameforgde. 

As flames started to spew out of my staff I used [dash]. The flames enveloped my staff before they condensed. Swinging my staff down I hit another Kobold, however, I didn't kill it. Instead, a giant gash appeared on its chest. Using [Dash] again I appeared behind the kobold. 

Swinging my staff I had decapitated it.

"Raaaa!"

More Kobolds with spears and swords charged toward me however, I activated [Fire Blast]. 

*BOOM*

But just as I exploded the area in front of me I was launched toward the wall. 

[-99 HP] 

I started to cough up blood which soon started to turn into pixels. I then brought out a red pill from my inventory. 

This was something I had gotten from 3 people I killed. I wasn't surprised as the first town had medicine pills which were more expensive but were more effective as well. 

I then bit down on the pill and then took a blue pill before putting it in my mouth but I didn't bite on it. 

[+55 HP] 

Using [Dash] again I was able to appear farther from the thing that attacked me. Looking up I saw the man. 

'Damn, so he's decided to take things into his own hands huh?' 

I then saw the kobolds that were regenerating. 

Seeing that I grit my teeth as I slowly got up and used [Dash] again to appear behind William who had appeared in front of the area I was standing in. In the place where I was standing though was 

*BOOM*

As it exploded I used [Dash] to appear behind the group of regenerating Kobolds. Quickly activating [Fireforgde] I swung my staff to kill 2 of the Kobolds.

I then used [Fireblast] causing small orbs of light to appear around the group before they exploded.

I then bit down on the blue pill in my mouth. 

[+100 Mana] 

I felt a rush before I used [Dash] to appear in front of one kobold while activating [Flameforge]. Appearing in front of a kobold I swung my staff down. However, the kobold seemed to surprise, and as if on instinct it raised its sword to block my staff. 

But thanks to my flames the kobold's blade melted and my staff cut right through the blade and the kobold.

Using dash I repeated the same action and killed the remaining 4 kobolds.

However, as I was taking a breather I used [Dash] again to move back. 

William, the boss monster of this dungeon appeared. 

However, as I stared at him I noticed William's body change. His muscles started to bulge as fur started to grow all over his body. His mouth started to grow in length as his teeth started to sharper and small ears popped out the top of his head. 

His hands started to get bigger as his nails grew longer and sharper. 

'Fuck Phase 2 already?'

"RAAA-" 

*BOOM*

After his werewolf transformation was complete William let out a roar but was cut short as I shot a [Flame Arrow] which exploded in his face. 

I didn't just do that because I saw an opportunity but because if I let him finish I was going to get a debuff due to the roar.

The debuff was called "intimidate". 

It reduced all stats by half for 7 minutes. 

Immediately I ducked allowing the 2 giant blades to pass over me and land in the hands of William. 

Before I could cast [Fireblast] again William's swords started to pulsate in a purple glow. Suddenly he swung his blades creating purple energy blades causing me to quickly use [Magic Barrier]. 

*BANG*

"Damn," I muttered as I used [Dash] and dodged the attack. 

But just as I was about to cast [Fireblast] a shadow cast over me causing me to look up and see William in the air. 

"Son of a-" 

Using [Fireblast] I was able to leave a small orb of light before I used [Dash] to move away while activating [Magic Barrier]

With a curse, I noticed that my mana was already down a quarter so I tried to think of a plan to end this quickly. 

But just as I was thinking of a plan a notification caught my eye.

[Skill [[Magic Barrier] has leveled up!]

[Lvl 2 > Lvl 3] 

'Hm' 

Quickly using [Dash] I dodged the 2 blades that were tossed toward me. But I then saw a werewolf that was towering over me with a violet glow that surrounded its fist. 

Using [Dash] again I appeared behind William and activated [Flameforge]. Plunging my staff into the werewolf's back I started to slide down. 

However, before I could do anything else I was thrown away and hit a wall. 

[-24 HP]

"Ow," I got up and looked at the werewolf William jumped back and recalled his 2 swords. Suddenly William's swords started to pulsate in a purple glow again before he slashed toward me. Slashes made of purple energy headed toward me with tremendous speed again. 

Quickly putting my plan into action I started to run toward the slashes before I used [Dash] to run through them. I then used [Dash] again to move in a zig-zag pattern but when William launched his swords they still almost hit me. 

However, I quickly saw the werewolf that was towering over me with a violet glow that surrounded its fist. 

Using [Dash] again I appeared behind William before I used [Flameforge] to slice his back again. 

But this time I used [Dash] to move away and quickly cast [Magic Barrier]. However, instead of appearing around me it appeared around the werewolf. 

As the werewolf tried to move it was blocked by the barrier. Just as it was trying to process what was happening I cast [Fire Blast] causing dozens of orbs of light to appear in the barrier before they exploded. 

*BOOOOM*

A giant explosion happened that was contained thanks to the [Magic Barrier]. However, I quickly dispelled it. Activating [Flame Arrow] an arrow made of flames appeared before I launched it into the smoke.

*BOOM*

Another small explosion happened, however, the expected notification didn't come causing me to frown. As the smoke cleared I saw William kneeling on the ground with burns all over his body. But I soon noticed that the burns were slowly healing. 

Activating [Dash] and [Flameforge] I swung my staff down as the flames collided around my staff. 

I then swung it decapitating William before his regeneration could fully kick in.

With a breath, I slumped to the floor and opened my status screen again.
