World of Mysteries

North Continent. The continent where all races are said to be equal, but in actuality, the humanoid race strives more within this mainland, and that's done by Maverick Lionheart, also known as Emperor. This continent used to belong to Severus Lionheart, Maverick and Emerald's father. The North Continent is mainly known as "Ivrand", which means "Power" in the tongue of the gods.

East Continent. The continent where all races were in unison, striving to build a world full of peace and prosperity, setting aside their hatred for one another. It was the most beloved continent out of them all, and by far, the safest. Everyone visited this mainland to look for a place that accepted everyone, but on one fateful day, Lilith gained control over this continent, taking it for herself. Now, all humanoids are executed and meant to be used as pawns. Lilith's hatred for the humanoid race was strong, due to her betrayal from Emperor. The South Continent is mainly known as "Zedrera", which means "Unison" in the tongue of the gods.

South Continent. The continent where all races are enslaved, and forced to work under Lucifer's rule. Those who enter this mainland are bound to its laws, as there is a barrier around it, bounding those who enter it to Lucifer's volition. The only ones who are unaffected by the law barrier are those who are part of a guild on another continent. This Continent used to be peaceful, full of wildlife and a mix of races, but Lucifer took it over and gained control, spreading his corruption among the mainland. The South Continent is mainly known as "Kleizavari", which means "Freedom" in the tongue of the gods.

West Continent. The forbidden continent, not seen by mortal eyes. It is said that Buddha once lived on this mainland, and had spread his love among the continent to create eternal peace, and that he did. Angelica was the only one who could enter this mainland without being affected by the overwhelming aura of the gods that emanated around the place. She modified the entire mainland to be inhabitable. With her righteous attitude and sense of justice, Angelica made the West continent into a world of freedom and peace. The West Continent is mainly known as "Bodhisattva", which means "Awakening" in the tongue of the gods.

Each Great King had their own separate land, with their own rules, and their own country. Each land hated its king, except for Angelica.

In each continent, there exists a minority group in their own country.

{For the North Continent, its countries are;

Ottenmore. From being ruled by Emperor, it exists as one of the most high-quality nations inside Ivrand (North Continent). It welcomes all races.

Álfheim. The land of the elves.

Eldamar. The land of the dark elves.

Argonaut. The land of the dragonics. Some people call them dragonoids. It is ruled by Crimson Argonaut.

Sacred Grove. The land of the dryads. It is ruled by Christopher, the half-dryad and half-human hybrid.

Babylon. The land of the angels, and fallen angels. It is ruled by Emerald Lionheart, Maverick's sister.

Pandemonium. The land of the demons. It is ruled by Lucienne, known to be quite chaotic, but perfect for the demon race.}

{For the South Continent, its countries are;

Housaka. From being ruled by Lucifer, it exists as one of the most high-quality nations inside Kleizavari (South Continent). The slaves within this country are said to have better lives, as they serve closer to Lord Lucifer, but that's a lie. They're only treated worse.

Moria. The land of the dwarves, where they build the strongest equipment, even level infinity items.

Mordor. The land of the orcs, savage beasts that crave battle and bloodshed.

Yoselle. The land of the golems, which are sentient creatures born from the earth and science, created by a mysterious genius. They are said to inhabit this foreign land and name it after the first golem, Yoselle.

Magia. The land of the genies. Said to be created by the gods. These lands are impossible to enter, as the overwhelming amount of mana can kill even level 100 players in minutes. It's best to explore the country and capture a genie to keep as your own.}

{For the East Continent, its countries are;

Gehenna. From being ruled by Lilith, it exists as one of the most high-quality nations inside Zedrera (East Continent). It despises the humanoid race, but it's mainly known as the land of the vampires.

Fairyland. The land of the fairies, created with such potent magic that it rivals the land of the genies.

Umon. The land of the slimes, where the humanoid race is mostly unwelcomed.

Aubreron. The land of the elementals, where magic rivals that of fairyland. All elementals exist here, never leaving its confines unless necessary.}

"Huh? But what about the Ghosts, Goblins, and the Undead? Don't they have their own country mommy?" A child was lying in their bed, listening to their mother read them a bedtime story.

"Those three races decided to spread their population across the entirety of Terra. They didn't wish for any unified nation, they only wanted freedom of their own volition."

"Why?" Asked the child.

"It's because countries create chaos, that's what they believed."

"The only person who creates chaos from what I hear is Lady Lilith and Lucifer." Responded the child, tilting their head in confusion.

"Well, that may be the case. History tells us of their actions in the past."

"Lady Lilith placed a curse on the whole world. Whenever it's night, those creatures called fiends populate the darkness. They are entities born from the collective consciousness that embody the fears of mankind. Daddy told me that they're conceptual in nature, and nothing can harm them other than legendary, or supreme-grade weapons. That's why they're so dangerous, and it's also why we stay away from them whenever it becomes dark."

The mother widened her eyes, closing the book, "Your father told you that? Really?"

"Yeah, when I asked him for a scary bedtime story!"

The mom sighed, placing her palm over her head, "Good grief, what am I gonna do with him?"

"Mommy, why did Lilith place that curse on the entire world? Is she mad at everyone?"

The mom giggled, placing her arm against Remus' shoulder, "No more questions, Remus, it's time for bed."

"Aww, but I wanna know!"

"No, Remus, you need to sleep. You have school tomorrow at the magic academy—do you wanna make Lord Emperor mad that you didn't show up?"

"No mam…" Said the pouting child, crossing his arms.

"Good. Now head to bed." The mom leaned forward to kiss the boy's forehead, and patted his scalp, "Goodnight my sweet boy, sleep well."

"Goodnight Mommy."

"So… you wanna know why Lilith placed a curse on the world, do yah?"

"Daddy!" Remus jumped up from the bed, running to the doorway to hug his father.

"Woah, hey there bud! How have you been?"

"I've been okay! I met Johan again outside with my friends! He gave me a Golden Apple from some powerful dungeon!"

"…A golden apple?" Asked the dad.

"Yeah!"

"Is that so?" The father looked at his wife, questioning her with a stare, but she shook her head in denial, not wanting to disappoint their child, "Well, make sure you take good care of that golden apple. You know, only one golden apple tree exists within the whole world, and they're said to give you the immortality of Sun Wukong within folklore. It's so rare that not even a Great King can find them!"

[Cutscene to Angelica and Legolas inside a dining room]

"These Golden apples are so good!" (Legolas)

"Hahaha, right? I handpicked them and grew my very own Golden apple trees. There's plenty of immortal fruits to go around!" (Angelica)

"I can't believe I'm actually eating one, this is incredible!" (Legolas)

"Enjoy it while you can!" (Angelica)

[Back to the household]

"Only one? I'm super lucky then, aren't I?"

"Yes, you're my son. Golden Apples originate from the West continent, they've been hunted and plucked by humans, eating one is extremely dangerous. It can kill you if your willpower to resist its godly effects is weak."

"That's scary!" Shouted Remus in fear.

"Alright you two, it's getting late." The mom stood up from the bed, and walked to her husband, kissing his cheek, "How was work, dear?"

"Ah, it's been quite busy. I never knew that working for Lord Emperor would be such a hassle."

"Fuhuhu," Laughed the mom, "You were picked out of the mass public to work under him, so do your best."

"I suppose you're right, Martha." The father sighed before patting Remus once again, "As the new minister of intelligence, I mustn't fail him."

"You can do it, Daddy! You're awesome!"

"Thanks, Remus, I needed that. How about tomorrow we stop by the park, and play Magic Skip?"

"Heck yeah! I've been wanting to play Magic Skip forever!"

"Alright then, it's settled." Said the father.

Remus ran back to bed while Martha closed the door, leaving the room with her beloved.

"Dear…"

"What is it, Martha?"

"Does he know yet?"

"Hm?" The father turned around, facing his wife, "Emperor?"

"Yes. Does he know that you're Johan, his real-life friend?"

"….No, he doesn't. Not yet."
