A new bond with Uriel

"Looks like he's got it," Uriel said while examining the changes happening to Jay's body.

At that instant, Jay's eyes shot open, slightly startling Uriel in the process. Wasting no time, Jay brought up his inventory and took out his spear, and raised it up just like how he saw Uriel do it in the vision.

"Now throw it towards that monster!" Uriel shouted and pointed at the frozen monster.

Jay's muscles tightened up as he got ready to throw hurdled the spear, and using every ounce of his strength, he sent the spear flying towards the monster.

But as it reached the fifty-meter distance, the spear slowed down considerably, looking as if it had stopped moving, but in contrast, the spear still moved.

"I know what you're thinking," Uriel said to Jay, now out of breath. "Time hasn't stopped moving; it's just time has slowed down by a huge margin. That's why my fastest spear-throwing technique is moving in our eyes but slowly."

"But what's going to happen once it makes contact with that monster?" Jay asked through his roughed breath.

"The spatial manipulation will wear off, so when that happens, we're going to have to make a break for it, then grab that human and run for it," Uriel said. "You can't do anything to that monster as of right now."

"What? I-" Jay wanted to refute her words, but Uriel quickly interrupted him.

"The spear is going to make contact in two seconds. Get ready." Uriel spoke, resulting in Jay looking back and tracing the spear. Indeed it was going to make an impact any second.

Jay took a stance to start sprinting whenever he got the chance.

The spear slowly pierced the forearm of the monster, tearing through its skin, resulting in a gush of blood; then came to the breaking of the muscles quickly, followed by the shattering of its bones.

The instant the spatial manipulation was torn down, a roar came out of the pained monster casing Jay to cover his ears. From the moment the spatial manipulation came down, Jay started his sprint toward the monster.

"Hey! Just grab the human!" Uriel shouted from behind, but Jay didn't bother to listen to her. The only target he was forced on was the monster in front of him.

Running in a beeline straight towards the creature, he suddenly broke his course a bit towards the left to reach the right arm of the monster. Jay was aiming to retrieve the spear he had just thrown.

"Kyaaa!" A scream came from the human woman as she fell to the ground and screamed at the sight behind her. 'W-who is that? A demon? Where's Coltin?!'

"I said to grab the human!" Uriel screamed again, but Jay continued to ignore her.

Grabbing the spear that was embedded into the monster, Jay twisted and pulled to take the spear out of its arm. The second he did, Jay jumped high into the air, above the monster's head, and prepared himself.

"I still have three seconds before the skill duration runs out! I'm taking this bastard down!" Jay said. Then yet again, he forced all his remaining energy into his right arm and threw the spear right at the monster's head.

There was nothing it could do other than watch the spear come closer to take its life. Even though that monster knew the spear was coming to kill, it couldn't do anything since there was no way it could move out of the way in time.

Just like that, the monster's head was blown off. Black blood splattered everywhere from the spot that once held its head. The sticky hot blood got all over Jay and the human woman, and lucky, since Uriel was far away, not a single drop had stained her skin or clothes.

'Is this what that old man was talking about getting power over Uriel?' Jay thought while looking at the system interface in amazement. 'But how I'm I supposed to get Uriel to drop her blood?'

"Hey! Why are you disregarding my words!" Uriel explained as she approached Jay.

"Wow, you're so different from how you were in bed," Jay smirked at Uriel. "So fierce~"

Slap!

Jay turned his head as he felt a streaking pain on his left cheek.

"That was because I was sexually driven from the lack of energy!"

"But… you said something about it being a piece of your soul and saying that you were gilding me?" Jay said as he touched his lip and noticed that it was bleeding. "That's crazy… we were so friendly with each other till now that it was unbelievable."

"U-ummm, Excuse me…. Please stop fighting." The human woman tried to interrupt when she noticed the conversion heating up.

"Yes, that's what I'm doing! You need to know what's right and wrong! How could you turn out to be a hero like this? Are you really a hero?"

Jay clenched his fist, and his knuckles came in clean contact with Uriel's cheek, sending her tumbling towards the ground.

The human woman covered her mouth with her hands in bewilderment and shock.

"What are you doing?" Uriel growled.

"You made me bleed, so we can call it even now." Jay smiled as he wiped the blood off Uriel's lips, using his hand that was stained with his own blood.

[God's shackles have been activated.]

[A bond has been created between Uriel]
