Chapter 13: Red Gate(Reboot)

"First of all I'm sorry for my actions before."

We are currently in a cafe having coffee. I put curtain so that we are not disturbed as we talk.

"So, Why did you do it."narrowing his eyes he questioned me.

"What do you know about the gates, Mr.Sung" I replied with a question.

"The gates are breaches in our reality connecting with other reality, forming a hole in the dimensions which can be accessed from both sides with enough time." That was all know to public.

"Close but not the true, you'll find your answer for my question in the future, Now about your question, I wanted to know where you stand currently." Which caused him to raise his eyebrows.

"What do you mean by that," he raised his voice and I can see the energy coming from him.

"We both know the meaning Mr.Sung, can I call you Jin woo, it feels weird for me call someone of same age and a fellow Monarch with respect," I said.

"What did you mean by that," it seems my answer raised many questions for him.

"I'll stick with Jin woo then, You're not strong enough to know the answers for all the questions, I can tell you everything if you truly want to know but remember you won't be able to do anything and it will do you more bad than good, somethings are best if we learn them ourselves, take your time, increase your strength and given time you'll find the answer, your way of thinking will be different after getting some experience. Your view about the world will change with time." I paused and had a sip of my team.

He is in a deep thought trying to understand the meaning behind my words.

"Oh, and a peace of advice which you already know, it is better if you increase your strength as early as possible cause in this world only you can level up," man..I always wanted say that line.

But my words hit a big mark and he increased his aura.

"Explain now," his eyes are glowing blue and his voice contains high intensity.

"What do you mean by 'fellow Monarch' and how do you know that I can level up," we are surrounded by his shadow soldiers.

I looked at Igris, he is my favourite in the shadow army after beru.

"Hello Igris, it seems you can't talk now, we will talk after your master learned about his true powers," I smile while saying those words.

"Who the hell are you" his eyes widened when I called Igris by his name.

"Me, I'm Mark Anderson, head of the monitoring division in the H.A branch in Star City," I paused and increased my power which caused the shadow soldiers surrounding us to disappear.

Since It's been a while I let my powers loose, it's time to show off against the future shadow monarch.

My eyes glow blue and my body is surrounded by the aura of cosmos which is black in colour but have small white spots.

"But for your question, I'm the ETERNAL MONARCH."

With the end of the sentence I realised most of my powers which caused all the shadows to desperse, only Igris is holding my force with great difficulty but he too disappeared after a while.

His eyes widened from sensing the massive power and seeing his shadows gone.

It might be a bit difficult for me to do this in the future when he has full powers, but his current power level is very low so with a bit of force I can cancel his powers completely.

"I'm saying this again Jin woo, I'm not the enemy here, you'll know about them in the future..."my words stopped when I stopped sensing them.

'Nat and Sam...they are gone, but how... I can sense them previously but they are currently not on Terra...how can this..wait..' my thoughts stopped after looking at Jin woo.

"Jin woo it seems we have to postpone this meeting, my sister and my friend are in danger, I have to help them" with that I began to walk towards the exit of the cafe followed by him.

I stopped at the exit door and turned to see Jin woo beside me.

"I know you're hearing this conversation, so remember when I say this, if this is all a coincidence then it's fine, but if I found even a tiny piece of evidence that you bastard Architecht or the others have any hand in this," I paused and increased my powers to the max output, since we're inside the curtain others are not effected.

But the same can't be said to Jin woo, he's sweating like crazy, perhaps this is his first time feeling this overwhelmed after that giant statue.

"I'll make sure this time, that the entire monarchs will be erased from existence." My eyes glowed blue and I started directly into his eyes with a distorted voice that send chills to his spine.

Swoosh

Space around me cracked and I disappeard from his view. After that the curtain deactivated.

"Huff...Huff...what the hell is he." He said trying to catch his breath.

'The worlds he said lastly, they are not to me but for whom, is someone observing me the whole time. It seems I have to level up way faster than I thought.' he's determined to solve the mystery, and the only way is to do so is by leveling up.

**A couple of minutes back**

Inside a bus hosting a group of teenagers for a trip.

"I knew this will happen." Sam said while facepalming, annoyed to see the red head.

"To be frank this is not his intention, the president of H.A ordered it, he said it is best to send an instructor to supervise this trip since it will be near the gate locations, it is better to be safe than sorry."Nat said to sam who was seated near a window.

"You sure about that" sam asked narrowing her eyes not believing her words.

"Well...kindly of..."

"I knew it.... he's dead when I see him next time." she clenched her fits, anger is clearly visible on her face.

"So, you don't want to spend time with me huh, I'm sorry," Nat said with hurtful expression.

"Sign.. it's not like that natasha, I'm mad at him cause he won't believe that I can be fine on my own.

Both mom and him opposed me when I want to join the internship but selected Gwen, they said that I'm not ready to see the outside world.

Gwen's been busy lately cause she's having frequent missions from the H.A or some irregulars to deal with, look she's not here now.

I just want to stay away from them for sometime, that is the reason I'm going for this trip.

I just want them to know that I can be fine on my own." Sam expressed her feelings that has been bottomed up all at once.

"I know it can be tough sam, but remember your family is always there are you. They are doing that to protect you but sometimes they forget to let go so you can grow. How about I talk with Mark about this." Nat said while holding the hands of shreya.

"Thanks Nat"

Sweeshhh

All of a sudden a crack appeared in front of the bus in which sam and nat are in, sucking it in completely and a few seconds after the crack shapes into a circle with red colour.

"Ohh my god, a gate and a red one at that run." Someone shouted.

"Call the association"

"Run away.."

Soon it turned into chaos.

*Near the red gate*

Without waiting for a reply from the man, a black Portal opened and sucked them in.

*Red gate area after sometime*

Employees from association came and cleared the area. It is now a red jone now.

"This is going to be troublesome" looking at the gate jin-chul sighed.

"Why Mr.Woo Jin-chul." an employee near him asked.

"Because.." suddenly he paused and looked at the direction of the gate.

Swooshh

Space has been twisted and a figure is now standing infront of the gate.

"Hey, who are..." Before the employee from H.A could finish her sentence she froze.

Not only her but the entire people near the gate froze as if time stopped for them.

I walked towards the red gate and placedy hands on it.

Crack..

Cracks began to form on it and soon a large crack is seen in the middle of the gate.

"Don't worry I'll bring all of them back." I said to the frozen Jin-chul and went to the gate.

After that the crack in the red gate closed, and the people from association return to normal.

They had one thought in their mind.
