On the outside, he is known as the son of a General. But no one knows the mystery that surrounds him and the entanglement with the Princess. Reginald was actually tasked from beginning to keep Olivia safe. But from what danger? Was fate actually playing a role in bringing these two people with different stories and mysteries together? **** EXCERPT "It means you're not remorseful." Her mind started to work in strange angles as a smirk graced her face. "Olivia..." Reginald spoke in a tired voice. This was not what he wanted from the beginning. He wanted them to solve things and now they were heading back to square one. "Don't mention my name in that manner." She slammed her eyes shut for a second before opening them. This was because she started to feel confused. "Olivia!" Reginald called out again, this time with great force that said he wanted her to focus on what they were talking about. "Please don't —" "Tell me what I did." "You're in love with another woman! I caught you hugging her in that room, Reginald!"

Past (Part VIII)

Hearing his mono-command, Vanessa saw herself sinking to her knees. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as her breathing pace became laborious.

Oberon never knew how he saw himself storming her direction and grabbing her into his arms. He swept her feet from the floor as he bridal-carried her to his large bed.

Placing the almost unconscious Vanessa in the center of the bed, Oberon exhaled in disbelief. No matter how hard he tried, he was always coming back to her.

There was no freaking way he'd remain mad at her. She controlled his heart like it was meant to follow her orders from the start.

He chuckled while his hand went to tousle his jet-black hair. Those gray eyes of his found themselves darting to her figure. Oberon noticed how lean his lover got, and how pale her face became. It made his worry escalate.
