The murmurings in the throne hall didn't settle. Instead, as the minute passed it only increased.
"A witch??"
"When was the last time we heard of such malicious beings?"
"King Oberon did better in eliminating those creatures from the darkness. They did nothing but spread negativity around."
"How come Her Highness knows of it? Doesn't it make everything suspicious to you?" Lord Uriel voiced out, sending a condescending look in the Princess's direction.
One could sense displeasure in his voice while he spoke his thoughts.
Princess Olivia, listening to his remarks sat up in eagerness. She looked like she was anticipating the worst comment toward herself. There was a pleased smile on her face.
It made some of the Dukes swallow in the air while a shiver ran deep to their bones. They felt the invisible chills that surrounded her gracious frame.
