Nana the ghost

"How could Alex do this to me? I understand that he doesn't love me but how could he stoop so low." I gotta go now. Mira took her car key and slammed the door. "Take me to that haunted house," Mira said to the driver who looked shocked at what she said.

"Ma, you mean your company?" The driver asked already looking terrified.

"You fool I said the haunted house. Are you mad or what, you do wanna start making a joke out of my speech? Come on, get going." The driver ignited the car and drove off.

....................................

I looked at the huge house opposite my company in wonder as the climate changed. The atmosphere turned chilling and windy making the swing gate make sounds like it's fighting to be opened but is stopped due to the lock at the center of the gate.

"Sir I think it's a bad idea for us to be here, please let's just go back home. You know I can't go back home without you or else Big Master will kill me. Sir for the sake of my life and my children's life please let's just leave this place." I heard my driver say from behind as the wind became even more aggressive. I tried hard to stop myself from going further but I couldn't cause it felt like something was calling on to me. I was not myself anymore. I fought hard to take a step forward cause the strong wind pulled me back. I eventually reached for the gate's lock and tried opening it but it couldn't cause it looked like something that cannot be opened with the key cause of how long it has been there. I saw a big stone just beside the gate and took it, I kept hitting the lock repeatedly and it eventually opened wide making a very chilled wind embrace me like a welcome. Everywhere was suddenly becoming dark and stormy. I can't deny the fact that am terrified but still unfaltering to get into the house. I took a step to proceed and heard my steps echo, I stopped for a moment and moved again, and got to the main door. I stretched forth my hands to open the door but it opened by with self with such great force that my hair covered my face. I walked into the house to explore it and heard a loud sound, I turned around only to realize that the door slammed close. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared. There was sweat all over me and to cover it up everywhere was so dark, I had to turn on my flashlight. I decided to look around the house to see what it looked like. I could hear the wind blowing up against the house as the chandelier began to swing. I made my way to the staircase and I could swear that I saw a shadow. I decided to act bravely and move on o the stairs, my legs were shaking as I took each step. I looked closely and realized that the stairs were up and down stairs. I felt someone hold my leg from proceeding and thought it was my driver but when I looked down I saw nobody and felt the hand remove instantly making me realize that my driver wasn't with me. I nodded my head and kept going every step echoed in my ears, I could feel the presence of someone else but I discarded the thought and went further. I realized that the person was no longer following me until I reached the tenth room where I felt like the person was gazing at me but when I turned back to look I didn't see anyone. "Who is it?" I asked but got no response only my voice echoing back to me.

"Wow. There are ten rooms in this house and I haven't even checked everywhere yet, maybe there are more. I walked out of the tenth room and looked to my left-hand side only to realize there was a door beside the tenth room. I furrowed my brows in wonder as I thought of what could be at the other side of the door." I took a step forward and saw the shadow of a little girl beside me, I wanted to yell but could feel that the girl wasn't a threat to me. I reached out for the knob and saw the shadow appear again nodding her head in disapproval, but I open the door regardless and heard a scream making my phone fall from my hand and leaving me in a confused state on what to do and the idea of closing the door came to me and I closed the door instantly.

"What was that?" I asked myself and was distracted by the giggling of the shadow.

"I already gave you a sign not to open the door but you didn't listen. You must be very stubborn and proud I guess." The girl said making me itch my brows.

"Why are you hiding? Come out let." I said to the girl in a stressed tone.

"You can't see me 'cause am a ghost."

"Am tired of all this your cat and mouse games now come out," Alex said looking around.

"OK I'll come out but that's only if you can see me. Look up." The girl said.

Alex looked up and widened his eyes in shock.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing there? Why are you up there? Come down right now!" Alex said to the girl who looked shocked as well as Alex.

"What! You can see me? Can you see me? Can you see me? How, how did you see me? How are you seeing me?" The little girl bombarded him with questions.

"Just come down then I'll answer you," Alex said.

The little girl used using her magic to come down smiling at Alex.

"My name is Nana the ghost." The girl said smiling.
