CHAPTER 8

Sophia's Pov.

After this, I left home and met Anderson, my husband sitting on the sofa, and waiting for me. I was surprised to see him because I never expected him to be discharged.

''Come over to me, sweetheart'' He spoke, with a smiling face. He looked like one who hadn't been admitted at all.

''Oh! I see that you are back. What can I do for my baby at this time of the day?'' I asked while going close to him.

He immediately stood up, hugged and kissed me on my lips. I strangely looked at him, just to verify whether he was okay or not.

''I'm okay'' He said, still caressing my body.

Meanwhile, I was tired and frustrated mentally, due to the incidents that just happened in my office.

He gazed at me and knew that all wasn't well at all. 

''You need a rest, my dear. I see that you're not cool. Just be on your own for now, we shall meet in the bedroom'' He said.

I just looked at him, smiled, and kissed him back. Then, I left to take a nap.

Three hours later, I woke up and saw him staring at me. I haven't seen him in such a mood or manner before. 

''What could be the issue?''I asked myself. Although from the lookout of things, he didn't mean any harm.

I yawned but as I was just about to recover from this mouth exercise, he quickly flew from where he was and landed on my body.

Within a twinkle of an eye, he placed his lips on mine and sucked the hell out of me.

We started on this and soon, I found my breast being attacked by his calm hands, which had already given me warmth.

''I'm glad, I found you 'He said, as he kissed my breast, and caressed my stomach.

''Really?'' I asked.

''What!'' He asked, wanting to know the meaning of my simple question.

''I don't think you are glad that you found me'' I said.

''What's your reason for saying so?'' He asked.

''I think you're glad that you found one with a big breast and round-looking hips'' I responded teasingly.

He quickly grabbed the joke and knew that I was just toying with him.

He lifted me eventually, and this was how we both started on another journey of lovemaking. It was indeed, a wonderful experience.

Three hours later when we might have been done with our beautiful acts, I started telling him what happened today at the empire.

''You don't mean this? If this is so, then, you have done well'' He praised me.

'' Honestly, I have been waiting for you to make this step since. Although, I never wanted to tell you what and what not to do. I just wanted to leave you to judge whatever has been going on in the empire and I must confess, that you have done well'' He said to me.

''It's nothing dear. I didn't act based on emotions but just did the right thing. I mean, why would workers be coming to work whenever they want? It's an act of unseriousness. Although, I think there is something fishy in the empire, which I must get to find out myself.

Nevertheless, there's still something I would love to inform you on'' I said.

''Ride on dear. I'm all ears'' He encouraged me to speak.

''I found a letter patiently waiting for me on my desk (Handing over the letter to him, as I talked).

''And what about the letter?'' He asked.

''Read it for yourself and see what the content says''

He opened it and read it. His mood immediately changed after going through it. Anger filled all over his face.

''How come this letter? I guess you didn't close your office when you were having a meeting with the staff' 'He concluded.

''However, we have to take this matter very seriously'' He said.

''No, just leave it to me, I shall handle it myself'' I informed him.

''No, I don't think you alone can handle this situation. I shall get the police involved immediately'' Anderson responded.

''Like I said, I have told you not to bother. Just leave everything for me to handle at my own pace and I promise you, I shall get to the root of this. Just stay calm, the journey has just started'' I spoke bravely.

He looked at me, nodded his head, and folded his hands.

 However the next day, I walked secretly into a private security company, where I met ''Doctor Newman'', the head of the security unit.

''I have been told that you guys are good at doing what you do. Thus, that you are the best in this business'' I said, as I hailed him.

He smiled, after gazing at me for some while.

''You must be Madam Sophia, the wife of Mr. Anderson right?'' He asked.

''Yes, you're right. I guess you already know my husband if I'm not mistaken''.

''There is no one I don't know in London'' He said.

''I think you are joking if I'm not mistaken'' I tried to tease him.

He smiled once again, still looking at me.

''I won't talk too much, young woman. Just tell me your simple reasons 0f coming here 'He asked.

It was at this stage that I knew that he was here for business. As I was about to respond to him, I saw some men coming out from different offices. Most of them were in military uniforms and were all well-dressed and disciplined.

They seemed to be rushing out to execute a mission, while some of the men I saw there were just in suits.

''I need your security services'' I told him.

'' You want me to guide and protect you secretly by mounting my men on you wherever you go right?''

''Yes sir, exactly''. I was surprised to hear this from him. He spoke exactly what was on my mind.

He looked at me and kept smiling. I wonder what was amusing him. 

 However, I was about to lose interest in him, when he said something shocking to me.

'' You want me to help you find those who are responsible for the death of Anderson's father, and the abduction of his mother''. My eyes at this stage were watery with shock.
