Mission To Make Villainess Happy

"I've not opened my eyes in a 19th-century novel but rather in some weird place, maybe Rome. But I'm not sure." A modern girl Juli has been reincarnated as Livia Aulus, an upper-class lady in Rome, who has summoned her to make her friend Flavia Publius happy- a so-called villainess. Even though Juli doesn't want to do this she has no option other than completing this task. "Who are you?", Quintus Publius elder brother of the Flavia asks. "Looks like this life is also going to be hellish. How can I make someone else happy? When I'm one of the most unhappiest people in the world?"

Juli stood and moved toward Flavia. She stood in a classic southpaw stance, left foot forward, weight balanced, ready to unleash a flurry of punches. She signaled Flavia with her left hand to attack her.

Flavia was amused with her weird pose. She said, "You are interesting."

Flavia moved toward her at full speed. Juli tried her best to dodge her attack, but a loud Thud sound came. Juli was on the floor.

"I'm in a new world now.", Juli murmured. Flavia said, "You can't rest now. Get up."

Juli tried to stand up and succeed in it. This time she attacked first. She was able to punch on Flavia's face. But she got knocked down again.

This game lasted for two more rounds. Juli gave up and got white-sweeped. Her face was all bloody. "I need to go to the hospital.", Juli shouted when she saw blood running through her nose and cheeks.

"Hospital?", Quintus asked. Juli glared at him because he was standing there like a pole the whole time without helping her.

"I meant. I want to see a doctor.", Juli shouted in pain. The bruises were hurting her. The pain was unbearable.

Flavia offered her hand to help her stand up but Juli ignored her. It was the first time in her life she got beaten by someone other than her mother. Even though her mother had never hit her in the face.

Juli stumbled while standing up and Flavia held her hand. Juli wanted to free her hand, but she was unaware of the way to the doctor's room.

Flavia took her to the doctor's room. Flavia also had minor scratches on her hands. Quintus' nose was also running with blood. Three of them were treated by the doctor and were covered in bandages and dressings. They looked like kids who got treated after getting into a fight over a toy.

Juli missed her mother a lot today. Juli murmured in audible sound, "Nobody has ever hit me like this not even my mom." Tears were falling from her face. She wiped them quickly.

Flavia and Quintus looked at her but remained silent. They changed their dresses and had breakfast together.

Juli thought it was her mistake to agree to fight her. She should have refused it. Why did she agree to play this violent game? She was looking at her in the mirror covered in all the bandages. "Ouch... It hurts." " she shouted while touching her nose.

A maid called for Juli and told her to follow her. Because Flavia was calling her. Juli followed the maid. Quintus had already left for the work. But Juli had no idea what his work was. Juli was standing in front of a closed door.

She opened the door and saw Flavia there. She was sitting on a chair and reviewing some documents. She signaled her to come inside. Juli came into the room and took a seat. Flavia said, "We will leave in two hours for Curia Sulla."

"Why?", Juli asked abruptly and instantly realized her slip of the tongue. "Ok, Great. But what am I going to do for the next two hours?", Juli asked while covering her previous blunder.

"You are going to help me.", Flavia replied. "So, Can I ask you something? As you already know. I'm exotic here. It wouldn't hurt to learn something about this world."

"Well, you can't afford to get hurt yourself more because you're in Livia's body. Sure, ask me anything. I'll decide whether to answer or not.", Flavia said in a playful and cold tone.

Juli loved her bossy attitude. "She is so gorgeous. She is perfect. Who can say that she is a 17-year-old girl? And here, I am.", Juli stopped her thoughts. Because she didn't want to belittle herself.

"Ahmm...What is this, Curia Sulla?", Juli asked innocently. "Hahahaha..."

The loud laughing sounds filled the room. Flavia was laughing nonstop. Juli felt embarrassed. She thought it was the same laughing sound she had heard in her previous life when she had asked her mother about her phone while holding the phone in her own hands. It had happened one week before her death.

She wanted to stop Flavia, but she remembered her mother and her face got all red. She wanted to cry again. Flavia looked at her and said, "I apologize. I didn't want to make fun of you. It was..."

"I'm not angry at you. We don't even know each other. I'm missing my mom.", Juli said wiping her tears.

"Missing your mother. How old are you?", Flavia asked.

"I'm twen...", Juli stopped and thought it would be embarrassing to tell her my real age.

"Looks like we share the same birth year.", Juli lied.

"But you were saying twenty-something.", Flavia said.

"You misheard.", Juli said with teary eyes. She was more embarrassed to accept the fact that she was eleven years older than her and was a crybaby.

Flavia realized that she was lying, and she said, "Curia Sulla is the senate house. You have been there already."

"Livia must have seen it but I've no idea about it.", Juli said.

"I was not talking about Livia. I said you've been there Juli. You met Quintus there for the first time and he realized that you were not Livia.", Flavia said in a stern voice.

"Oh... I see.", Juli replied. She thought that Curia Sulla was the start of her journey, and it would be a new turning event as well.

"How did Quintus realize that I was not Livia?", Juli asked.

"Juli, why don't you ask him this question directly? It's not impossible to realize that you're not Livia. Your bad acting is not the reason. The reason is that you didn't even try to act like her. That is also the reason. You're sitting here right now instead of being in prison of a temple.", Flavia warned her coldly.

"So, you guys have realized that there is no other solution to get Livia back instead of trusting me.", Juli said.

"Trust... We don't trust you dear. We're in a difficult situation right now and we don't have any other option for the time being. Juli.", Flavia said.

Flavia was clearly giving Juli warnings. Juli thought who can be more pitiful than her in this world where nobody believes her?
