A Well-Spent Day

"Then how about you spend your day with me.", Quintus suggested.

"I also agree with Quintus. You should spend your day with him, and I'll keep an eye on Prince Eros.", Flavia joined the conversation.

"Juli, I'm sending a maid. Get ready and leave with Quintus. He was already not going to join us for breakfast. You should also leave early with him.", Flavia instructed Juli and left the room with Quintus.

She got ready and met Quintus at the main gate. He had prepared a chariot for them to ride. Flavia had told him that Juli didn't approve of Sellas. Chariots were not allowed within the city, but nobles could use them under special circumstances.

Right now, the special circumstances were Juli's bad health and her fear. Juli was relieved to find that she didn't have to walk. But riding on a chariot was not something, she had experienced before.
