(Aphrodite Johnson)

Today was the last day of our deal. For the past few days that we've been together, I realized that Adonis wasn't that bad like I thought when I first met and talked to him. Though I won't lie, the snob Adonis I met for the first time back then was still the same Adonis until now. His dark aura may be reduced now, however, it was still there. I'm not complaining since I'm kinda used to it. He was fun to be with. We never got bored since he was always teasing me about something - even about the smallest and tiniest thing. Though it was just a few days, I think I was able to understand him more and to know him more. I considered him a friend ever since he helped me.

I just remembered what he said last night because of how he acted today. "I'll make the last day of our date memorable." No one's lying here. A day with him was a memorable one, what more if you've been with him for a week? Anyway, I think being sweet was one of his plans? He's been like that ever since this freaking morning!

He put food on my plate and patted my head. I glared at him and he just gave me a "What?" look. I shrugged and continued eating. He was done eating within a minute or two, so he did his dishes and came back to the dining area to sat in front of me and make me uncomfortable. "What the f*ck is your problem?" I pushed his head away from me. He was so close to my face and invaded my personal space. He chuckled and patted my head again, "I'll take a bath first," and winked at me before he went away. I shook my head.

It was my first time seeing his sweet-annoying side so I had to adjust or else I'll be uncomfortable. It was just for today and after this, no more sweet-annoying Adonis, just annoying. Felt like he was in a hurry so I hurriedly finished my food too and went inside his room to get my clothes and take a bath. He took Blaze's bathroom so I'll probably stay here to do my stuff.

When I got inside, I saw a dress and accessories on the bed, with a note on it. I read the note and instinctively blushed. "I know this may seem uncomfortable for you but for the sake of our last date, please wear these. Anyway, have I told you that your name suits you well? Because of your beauty. Good morning, Aphrodite." He knew too well that I might feel uncomfortable with these but still suggested me to wear these anyway. I shook my head and let out a soft laugh. Although he was so persistent, I found it somehow cute. And what was that pick-up line for? Silly.

After taking a bath, I quickly wore the black cocktail and off shoulders dress he wanted me to wear. It had a silver belt with a design of ribbon for the hook and eye. I partnered it with silver heels. I wore the accessories he let me borrowed and fixed myself a little bit more. For the last touch, I sprayed perfume all over my body and now I'm ready to go.

He was watching television whilst waiting for me. I bit the inside of my cheek to stop myself from smiling. He's handsome, indeed. He was wearing a white long sleeve polo, matching a black blazer. I could smell his manly perfume from where I was standing and also, I noticed that he fixed his hair. No matter what his outfit is, he always looks good on it. Damn, I wonder what it feels like to be that freaking handsome.

I faked a cough and his head turned quickly as he heard it. He was looking at me from head to toe. I touched the back of my neck, feeling uneasy about the attention he's giving me. "Oh - sorry. You look great..... and beautiful." He said whilst looking straight into my eyes. I gulped hard, my heart beating so fast. I immediately looked away and already went outside before I fell on the floor, for my knees were starting to feel weak. That stupid guy's effect on someone was just ridiculous!

We were in the middle of the road, me not knowing where we're heading but since I trusted the guy I'm with, I don't mind wherever we'll go. I was busy jamming with the song that's playing when my phone vibrated. I took it out and my mood lit up more when I saw a message from Blaze.

"You're on a date with Adonis?" He replied to my Ninjagram story.

"Yeah - it's our last date. Anyway, how are you?" I was smiling from ear to ear.

"I'm good. Enjoy your date with Ad. Stay safe." I was thinking of something to say but I was so awkward when texting someone so I didn't reply. I'm scared to text him back again because I might say something stupid and he might think that I'm weird.

When Blaze knew about the deal between me and Adonis, he was all happy and being supportive when all this time, he's the one that I like, not Adonis. We got close, yes. But it didn't make me anything besides liking him as a friend. I sighed. I wonder what it feels like if Blaze was in Adonis' position today. It must feel wonderful.

I erased the thoughts I was thinking. Geez, I feel bad for Ad. He was the one who's with me right now but I'm thinking about someone else.

But seriously, I'm glad because this was just a deal. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't need to worry about Adonis falling in love with me because let's be honest, guys like him will probably have higher standards.

"Earth to Aphrodite!" Adonis snapped his fingers in front of me.

I turned my head to meet his eyes, "What?"

"Who texted you?" I tilted my head, confused why he asked me that but I answered it anyway. "Blaze." I smiled. Hearing from anyone, even from myself, his name could make me smile like an idiot.

"You're drooling." I punched his arm. I was telling him about Blaze, couldn't hide the excitement within me. He was just nodding, listening to my imaginary love life. I saw him rolled his eyes once or twice and sighed more than two times. I think he was starting to get irritated so I stopped talking to him and just sang the song that was playing.
