Chapter six - Shen family

" Baby go to your room, lights out at ten thirthy, remember' reminds Mrs Shen

" Got it mum, good night Shen xin's father" she stands up and goes to her father's side and pecks his cheeks

" Good night Shen xin's mother" she returns back to her mother's side and pecks her then goes upstairs.

Mrs shen looks as shen xin disappears from their sights and hears the sound of her room door closing.

" Honey,ever since our daughter's coma,none of your family members visited or even said to call us,why are they like this.any problem they encounter you'll see them rushing to come over to the house to cause chaos or even go as far as coming to the office to throw tantrums acting like vampires to suck our bloods,but they can't even pretend to care at all,Why?" Mrs Shen questions

" It hurts my heart thinking about it too,but I can't chase them away they're the only family I have left" Mr Shen sighs

" You are treating them like your family but they don't treat you like one,how many times have they made you loose face in front of your business partners, why don't we move to City A" Mrs Shen advices

" I can't run away from my business because of them,it's not possible" Mr Shen rejects

" I never said you should leave the business,you can just transfer the company headquarters to city A" the company will prosper there more than it is doing here trust me,my family has businesses over there ,I will ask them to help stabilize you when we get there,they will be more than happy to help and you know that" she says

" The idea is nice,but it'll take time to transfer the headquarters to another city,I'll call secretary Lee to start making preparations for that" Mr Shen takes out his cell phone to call his secretary.

Unbeknownst to them Shen xi was hidding behind the pillar listening to their conversations,she totally agreed to them moving, as long as they move she will have more time to prepare for her revenge on those so called relatives for ruining her family and killing her parents.

Shen xin's father was the third son of the family,he had four brothers and two sisters making them seven,but he wasn't liked by old Mrs Shen,his father had died earlier when he was just starting up his company even before he married Mrs Shen,old Mr Shen knew his children and knew that Mr Shen was the only one out of all his son that was hardworking,so on his deathbed he had begged Mr Shen to not turn his back on his siblings as long as they don't push him too far,that was what led to Mr Shen enduring his siblings tantrums and blood sucking attitude they had, while Old Mrs Shen wasn't too bad but she had the mentality that her eldest son will be the person to take care of her in her old age,but compared to the way she treated her other children her attitude towards Mr Shen was conflicting,she was biased but she didn't starve or let him go naked,it was as if she was keeping him at an arms length.when she was asked why,she would respond that third child has an unlikable personality that her spirit can't cope with his but she didn't hate him.but she died when Shen xin was three years old out of her eldest son's carelessness.
