Jeffrey was watching the surveillance video in the monitoring room of the hotpot restaurant. He found the people who threw the eggs at Julia entered the restaurant at the same time. It was very likely that they were accomplices. Their face had been clearly captured from different angles.
He copied the video and sent it to the security department to find the culprit behind it.
After leaving the monitoring room, he walked to a black Super Mercedes—Benz in the parking lot and started the engine of the car.
The car was given by Ford, who was always very generous to his subordinates.
As Jeffrey drove to a corner, he saw a woman vomiting while squatting on the roadside. He unconsciously slowed down.
Looking closely, he recalled that this woman seemed to be the one who named Nancy.
She was a superstar. Why was she alone on the roadside so late? Where was her assistant?
Jeffrey lost himself in thoughts for a moment. Then he felt that he was meddlesome, for she was just a person whom he met by chance.
Moreover, this woman was obsessed with his boss, so there was no need to interact with her.
The car slowly passed by the woman. He pressed down hard on the gas pedal and the car accelerated. Out of the corner of his eyes, from the rearview mirror, He saw a man and was holding that woman's hand, while Nancy grasped the tree, as if she was reluctant to go with that man.
Her thin and fair arm was exceptionally eye-catching in the night. Jeffrey couldn't help but recall that when this woman tugged at his clothes, her hand was so skinny that it seemed to be easily broken.
Looking back, there was no one on the roadside.
'Damm it!'
Cursing in a low voice, Jeffrey turned on the turn light and turned the car around.
Sure enough, he saw a woman who had been partly stuffed into the car not far from him.
Nancy had just vomited, so she felt very unwell. Although she was dizzy, she still kept her mind clear.
Donald asked her to drink a lot in the evening, and he even caressed her butt a few times.
Fortunately, she made an excuse that she needed to pee. Although Donald didn't want her to leave, he couldn't stop her from answering nature's call.
Thus, she sneaked out. Her broker had asked for leave today, so she called her best friend, Kevin, who was a makeup artist, to pick her up.
Just then, she felt so sick at the stomach, so she got off the car to vomit. Kevin got off the car and helped her. However, she couldn't help but vomit again while hugging the tree.
Kevin tried to stuff her into the car. Halfway through the process, someone pulled Nancy's wrist with his large hand. Rubbed by a callus, Nancy frowned because of the rough feeling.
Kevin roared, "Who the f*ck are y--"
Before he could finish his words, the tall and powerful man pushed him away. Kevin was nearly knocked flat.
Kevin hurriedly asked again, "What are you doing? Where do you want to take her?"
Nancy was also surprised. She subconsciously turned around, finding the man with a grim face was looking down at her. Their eyes met each other.
She ground her teeth.
Damn it. He was that damn bastard.
If it weren't for this bastard, she wouldn't have been forced to drink so much tonight, nor would she have been sexually harassed.
Kevin rushed over to grab Nancy's other hand, forcing himself to stare at Jeffrey.
Jeffrey had been training on the island for a long time. With a permanent tan and a straight face, he looked terrifying without even saying anything.
Jeffrey's look almost reduced Kevin to tears but he tried his best to check them as he cursed Jeffrey secretly.
Jeffrey then asked impatiently, "Do you want to go with him?"
Only then did Nancy realize that he was asking her. Her wrist hurt. She couldn't help but blamed his rudeness secretly.
Meeting his terrible eyes, she answered, "No …"
Meanwhile, the poor man who was tossed aside again became speechless.
Kevin was a professional makeup artist. He was thin and weak. How could he withstand this? He felt like his butt must have been severely injured it was very painful and he couldn't even get up.
The next second, Jerry pulled Nancy's hand and walked to the side of the car. Nancy stumbled along as she cursed in her heart.
Jeffrey stuffed her into the back seat and then went back to the driver's seat. "Where is your home?"
In a state of shock, Nancy replied in a daze, "Water Villa."
Jeffrey knew that costly villa. To live there matched her status of being a superstar. As Nancy didn't say anything else, Jeffrey had to drive to that place first.
When they arrived at the Water Villa, he asked, "Which building?"
Nancy didn't reply. He turned around, finding that Nancy was sleeping soundly.
He had to stop the car. Having come to the back seat, he wanted to shake her and waked her up. At the sight of the red mark on Nancy's wrist, he shook her arm gently. However, Nancy didn't react.
He then patted her face. "Hey, hey, wake up."
One would never ignore the rough feeling. Although Nancy was a little confused, she managed to open her eyes and said weakly, "I'll sleep for a while." After saying that, she closed her eyes again.
Jeffrey asked again, "... Which building?" Ignoring her protest.
Nancy muttered, "I don't want to go back..."
No matter what Jeffrey said, Nancy didn't respond. He lowered his head and cursed, "Damn it."
He returned to the driver's seat and drove back. Forty minutes later, he arrived at his apartment.
He opened the rear door, finding the woman on the seat was sleeping in an improper position, completely being different from the dignified and elegant one in the daytime.
Nancy's face was flushed, and there were tears at the corner of her eyes. Her skirt was lifted up, revealing a pair of long and fair legs. In such a sorry state, she looked attractive.
Holding the door of the car, he leaned forward into the car. Having stared at her face for a few seconds, he chuckled. "How dare you …"
...
International Hotel of country D.
Julia asked Marvin to wait downstairs while she went up alone to meet Sandy.
One had to swipe the card to enter the hotel elevator. Having checked in a room on the same floor next to Sandy, Julia went upstairs with the card.
As she arrived at Room 1202, she rang the doorbell. Unexpectedly, the door opened soon.
When Sandy saw her, shock choked Sandy's words. Julia stared at her with silence.
A woman's voice came from the bathroom. "Who is it?"
Only then did Sandy regain her senses and loudly replied, "It's the waiter, aunt."
Julia smirk and went straight to the point. "Should I go inside, or will you come out?"
After a moment's hesitation, Sandy whispered, "I'll come out."
She then yelled to the bathroom, "Aunt, I'll go downstairs to buy you some midnight snacks."
The person in the bathroom replied, "Go."
After closing the door, she followed Julia to the next room. After they entered, Julia closed the door.
Sandy trembled in fright.
Julia arched her eyebrow. She smiled on seeing this and asked, "What are you afraid of?"
Sandy bit her lips, returning, "Nothing."
"You should know why I'm looking for you, "Julia said directly.
Sandy bit her lips, remaining silent. With slightly bloodshot eyes, she looked pitiful.
With the sudden change of the atmosphere, Julia stared at her coldly. "No one else is here. Quite stop feigning."
