2-The Bright Side to Every Story

On my first day , I met grace , my guardian. She was so nice . She was one of the top scientists, a beautiful woman ,and was so kind to me . I felt kind of worthless in front of her . Like why me.

She answered all my questions and took care of me .

Every one in GDSC has a guardian and they are all great. I met some kids like me and they all treated me like family. Not only that , but the building is stunning with an arcade , art room , computer room , lab , and some pretty great wifi.

And there's shawn , the guy I've liked for years . He's right here . In the car , I remember the conversation being really awkward

_ Hey Shawn ... you're here...

_Hey Alexis... you're from the GDSC

_ yes, I guess. So that's what they call it . What does it stand for ???

_ Global Disasters Scientific Caretakers. I think.

And then miss grace came . And well things were normal afterwards.

Shawn and I went to the arcade every day. It made me really happy and sad because we were best friends . One day , i dropped my prize , a little keychain, and we both picked it up so we kind of held hands and my heart was beating like a had a serious. It probably meant nothing to him. I decided I will confess later,but gave up . The next time , we went to the mall. We really wanted the couple smoothie which was only for couples, so we pretended we were a couple.
