So... I'm a hero?

Opening my eyes, this head of mine rested on a soft pillow and my eyes stared at the ceiling made of oak.

Getting out of the soft bed I hadn't felt the touch of since my previous beds passing.

I cracked every single bone in my body in satisfaction and got ready to start my day.

Ever since my unprecedented appearance in this world, I had gained several abilities, all of which in my previous world would've been nothing short of supernatural.

Things such as the inventory being an incredibly handy power that would make eligible for kidnapping.

Of course I couldn't overlook the several abilities the crafting menu of the Minecraft and Terraria series handed me on a silver platter.

But one of the more overlooked abilities was the absence of fatigue, a very useful ability that allowed my body to move at its peak efficiency unless I succumb to hunger.

Dragging myself out of the confines of the soft bed I began the day by opening my sync rates.

[Dead Cells - 14%]

[Terraria - 32%]

[Minecraft - 29%]

Ever since both the Goblin Invasion event and the Eye of Cthulhu Boss fight, the sync rate for the game called Terraria had found a large boost that broke through 2 different hard locks.

Allowing me to see things I previously didn't, such as the health of the boss, a bar above certain enemies heads, which I can now confirm are only on Terrarian monsters.

Minecraft had stayed still since the last I saw of it, and will probably stay that way until I find something or complete some sort of requirement.

Dead Cells however... I have no idea what sort of requirements I had fulfilled because the game had broken through one of the ten hard locks.

And there was nothing I could tell was any different besides the usual Dead Cells hot bar, bag and gold coins.

But then again I was probably going to have to experiment to find out a bit more.

Looking over the room once I nodded and opened the door to the outside world.

Which still was inside an inn.

Stepping into the wooden hallway I made my way down the many steps and into the inn's other business.

Food.

Stepping onto the creaky wooden floor, almost instantly I was noticed, and the Servers were the first to notice and attracted all the attention to me.

"The hero had awoken from his sleep!"

As the eyes around the inn fell on me, I ignored them the same way I ignored fans.

Not that their gazes were any the more burdensome.

Glancing their way on accident while gesturing to the Server to come here.

I was revealed to the sight of a giant of a man waving at me joyfully at the same time a woman besides the man swooned like something out of a cartoon

Now significantly confused I turned to the server who was incredibly excited, but still kept the bare minimum of professionalism as possible.

"Do you want to have a free meal? It's on the house for the hero that saved the city"

'... I think I need some context right now'

"Umm... Sorry, I think I'll decline and take a walk"

Declining the offer, and getting up from my seat, I exited the Inn filled with people.

And I was surprised when I exited the inn and roamed the streets.

It was on a completely different level from when I was famous in my travels.

Everywhere I went I was greeted nicely, people even offering me gifts out of nowhere, of course not one to refuse free items when they were right in front of my face I took them.

Although they were dropped into my inventory later as the amount was getting ridiculous.

I continued my walk around the city and was thanked.

When I asked the reason why they replied in different ways.

But they all had the same message.

"Thank you for ending that monstrosity"

"Thanks Young'un for killing that goblin"

"You saved me!"

"Thank you for killing those goblins"

"You sent those green faced critters back to where they came from"

They all spoke of me saving them.

"Is it really that big of an achievement to end a goblin invasion?"

Asking that question out loud, it wasn't particularly directed at anyone but someone answered anyways.

Katrina cleaned a syringe with a piece of cloth and flicked the needle before she spoke.

"I forget that you seem to not know things that well but..."

Moving towards my side she stabbed the needle into my arm before activating the strange metallic contraption it was connected to.

"You should know about the goblins first"

"Those Greenies used to be less smart than us, and were incredibly weak with the strength of a toddler from their peons and a normal adults strength in their warriors."

"But a few years ago, the goblins that basically everyone looked down on had grown in strength and were now stronger than us humans, well... all the monsters that humans looked down on had grown in strength suddenly not just the goblins"

"The goblins, Abusing their still dumber but intelligent brains and their stronger than humans bodies, they began launching invasions that involved several deaths on both sides, the results being devastating to the humans"

"We lost several cities to their invasions which was a testament to their strength, needing several hundreds of C grades or a single B grade to end their invasions"

"You were marked as a C grade adventurer because of how the branch here doesn't have any adventurer's above C grade that could allow you into B grade, but after this..."

Stopping the transfusion of blood that pumped blood out of my body and into a large glass flask the size of my head she continued.

"With the scale the goblin invasion was on, You might- I mean you WILL become a B grade adventurer, the first of many to appear in this city, the only one staying here."

"And depending on what grade that mutated Demon eye is placed at you might have the chance of becoming an A grade adventurer, one of the first that this city has produced"

"Wait wait wait" Raising a hand that rested on the hard wood chair I was sat on, I gave a funny look to Katrina who was now packing up the machine.

"Yeah?"

"Are you telling me that you don't know what that thing is called?"

"Well... not really" Shrugging her shoulders she grabbed the giant vial of blood and set it aside. "It's the first of it's kind so it might be a sort of mutant Demon eye"

"The people from the Magic guild will decide which level of danger the mutant demon eye will be placed at"

"Hey Katrina, are there any libraries that the city has? If not is there some place where information is concentrated."

Grasping her by the arms and causing her to look at me strangely she nodded.

"Of course, the city Library of Tinell is probably what you are looking for"

"Thanks"

Nodding I instantly dashed and left the small room in the Alchemists guild, passing by several men and women in smart looking robes.

Before having to roll backwards, and run backwards in awkwardness. "So where is this library?"
