Unconfirmed feelings
Myra gulped down some water and let out a huge breath, trying to think.
How dare Peter get her mother involved? He must have fed her all sorts of lies for Mum to have texted her so suddenly. Now, it would be hard for her to convince her mother that she wanted nothing to do with him again.
"Myra? I just asked you a question!"
She snapped her head up to stare at Jonas. "I'm sorry, I just-"
"I understand, princess." He patted her hands, he could see how shaken she was. "Now I wanna know what really happened, the last time we spoke about this, you said you were single so why's Peter with your Mum?"
"I actually broke things off with him, after I caught him cheating."
He beamed. "I'm so proud of you, princess, you finally did the right thing!"
Myra was a bit embarrassed, even Jonas knew Peter was cheating on her and told her several times to leave him.
