Myra fell to her seat, her eyes fixed on the photos. Kevin looked very happy with the lady, his arms slung around her shoulders.
What is this?
This box couldn't possibly have come from Kevin, could it?
She dropped the photos and took a look at the box again, picking up the worn-out wristwatch to inspect it.
Myra rubbed her forehead in frustration.
Her name was clearly written on the box, which clearly meant the package was for her.
Someone wanted her to see these photos.
Just as she was about to pick up her phone, the door flung open and Kevin strolled in. "Hey, darling. What's up?" The smile on his face was genuine.
Myra looked up at him and glanced at the box. "I met this on my desk."
His smile deepened, "A package? Did you order anything?"
He moved closer to pick up the box when his eyes landed on the watch.
His smile disappeared almost immediately. "Where did you get that?"
