Meeting the rival
A muscle ticked in Kevin's jaw. Of all places, why did Peter have to be here?
"Oh, nothing. I was just a little uncomfortable in these shoes." Kevin said to Myra with a smile.
It seemed she caught on with her sixth sense.
"Who are you glaring at?"
Peter was a few meters away, talking to a lady beside his car, his arms wrapped around her waist. Kevin felt like going to slap some sense into the guy, instead, he grabbed Myra's hand to stop her from looking back.
"I wasn't glaring at anyone, Myra. Come on, you were going to get a cab, remember?"
She nodded and moved towards the road.
Luckily, Peter got into his car with the lady that very moment.
"You've got something on your hair," Kevin said hastily to get Myra's attention off the road.
"Huh?" Myra turned to stare at him, touching her hair when Peter's car zoomed past them.
Kevin sighed in relief. "Nothing."
