Myra's face was still pale when the call with her mother ended.
Kevin cuddled her from behind, his head on her shoulder, she was sure he could feel her heartbeat.
"Kevin?"
"Myra?"
They said simultaneously.
Myra turned around to look at him. "You heard what my Mum said, right?"
She bit her lips."I would have to leave your house very soon."
He furrowed his brows. "You can make your decisions, right? Just give her an excuse or something."
Her jaw dropped open in shock.
"Darling," he took her hands into his. "You can't leave. This house would never be the same without you."
Myra looked into his eyes, he had a sweet puppy dog look on his face.
She also didn't want to leave, but it would be unreasonable if she kept staying here.
He sheltered him cause they needed to investigate together, and now that it's all over. It's only pertinent she leaves.
