Chapter Eleven

"A-Agent 68! " I shouted. I heard her laugh.

"I didn't know that you have sense of humor , Agent 44, " she mocked.

I rolled my eyes.

"I'm not joking. But, you've lost so long. I didn't saw your shadows im quarters and you're just here. What happened? " I asked and sat on the sofa.

I sat relaxingly, like I'm a member of their family. Agent 66 glared at me but I ignored it.

"I got pregnant. I can't stay with the missions like this, and now I'm free. "

I nod.

I'm kinda jealous. She's free and she can do whatever she wanted to do now. Unlike us, agents, we're like an eagle slaves. We are controlled by them. But, I'm just there because of my parents.

Justice.

That's it.

I will never ever forget that.

But when I just realized what she said, that she's pregnant, my eyes definitely widened and got curious. Seriously, how? I mean...

Who's the father?

My forehead creased.

"44, she's my wife... " Agent 66 said in a low tone.

I blinked.

My whole world almost stopped and my mind can't even accept the words I heard from him. What?! No way! That's his wife?!

"So you mean you're the father?! " In shocked, I asked.

"Obviously. " In a sarcastic tone, he said.

I shooked my head.

I can't believe it. I didn't even expect those things, that there are agents fall inlove with each other. Well anyways, "love is in the air".

"Why are you here anyways? Did you too escaped? " Agent 66's wife asked.

"That would be impossible to 44 escape the Es Sorores. Maybe me. " It's 66.

"No, were in a mission and Bruse Mafia fought us. And, they planted a bomb in the whole building. I guess, they're the one who brought us here, " I answered.

"I see... "

"How long will you stay here? "

We were so shocked when someone meddled our conversation. The way she talks was sarcastic. She can't accept us as her visitors? Tss. I took a glance on the girl who fetched us.

"Pst! Don't be impolite! " Agent 68 said. "Sorry. " She apologized.

"Don't worry. We will not stay here dor a month. Don't be so stressed, " Agent 66 answered. I almost burst a loud laugh but when time I saw the girl's face, I tried to not laugh.

"What?! "

"Hey! Calm down! " 68 stopped her. She looked at us after. "I'm really sorry. She's my sister, Sydney is her name. I'm Kiah. Just call me that, or else people will think of us we're crazy. "

I nod.

"Yeah. Anyways, from now on call me Klev. Klevo Montez to be exact. But when we get back, you'll call me Agent 66, " said by Agent--Klev.

I nodded again.

"How about yours? "

My eyes shifted from Klev to Kiah and vice versa.

I'm not comfortable to say my real name to others. I feel like I can't trust them that much and even my name, I don't want them to know.

I sighed.

I'm too paranoid.

"Xeenalah... " I bit my lip. "Xeenalah Crayne Hudson. Just Xeena. "

"What a beautiful name, " Klev commented.

I saw Kiah looked at her sister. She told to her that she can go.

And then I saw Kiah sat in my front while Klev is on the other side.

"We'll do real talk. " I blinked. "I'm not really okay with the thing that you'll two stay here. Alam naman natin na karamihan ng kalaban ng Es Sorores ay nandito lang sa siyudad. We can't be sure na hindi nila kayo nakilala. I'm scared. Natatakot ako para sa anak ko, namin ni Klev. "

"I-I understand you, Kiah. But, if you ever forgot, I'm the greatest Agent in Es Sorores. I can assure your safety. "

"Ang yabang. " Ngiwi ni Klev.

"But, Xeena. Even the greatest ones falls. "

"Are you underestimating me, Kiah? " I don't want to be sound so sarcastic but I just can't! Specially, after hearing those words from her!

"I don't mean to sound like that, sorry. " Sincere, she said.

"It's okay. Ang nakakabahala lang ay ang Bruse. Si H at C, that's what I remember. Those two knew us and saw our bare faces, for sure. They're the real threat, " I said.

"But, think of it, Xeena. If they're the threat, why did they're help us? If they really want to kill us, they already did. " It's Klev.

"Maybe, they need something to you, Xeena. "

Mas lalo akong napaisip sa sinabi ni Kiah.

"If that's that... What is it? "

And then, we fall in our own questions.

"These are the clothes I have and it suits you. The rest are too big for you. "

I took a glance on the bed where the clo I asked is there.

"It's okay. The important thing is I can still wear them. "

She nodded.

"Great! I'll just prepare your lunch. "

She opened the door and left me alone here in the room. My eyes roamed the whole place. It's not too small. Not too big too. It's definitely fine for me. But, even though I have this fine clothes and room, I know I can't still sleep peacefully.

Err...

After I cleaned myself, I walked downstairs to eat lunch. Well, it's common for me to eat very late but now, it's kinda different. It's like I can't take it too long.

Maybe I'm not eating for days because I'm not in conscious too.

When I reached the kitchen, I can definitely smell the scent of Kiah's cook. In my thoughts, Klev is really lucky with her. She's caring, meh.

"I'll try special dishes tomorrow. I can't cook again now and besides, the fridge is empty, " said by Kiah.

I blinked.

"Oh, thankgoodness! I can finally eat other food! " I happily said.

Kiah laughed.

In quarters, we are always eating the same food. And how come I've been used it up to for how many years. Goodness.

"Here, Xeena. Enjoy the food! "

After lunch, I decided to stay at my room. I have no plans to explore their house. It's kinda big. Besides, I can manage my boredom. When I entered the room, the first thing caught my sight is the window.

I blinked.

I can't helo myself but to walk towards it. I watched those cars moving around the city and also the busy people walking plus those tall buildings. It makes me back my memories where my parents are still alive. We used to travel the whole city.

It makes me feel sad... Missing them...

And I want justice for them. I can'tlet them die in that way. I have many questions to ask to Bruse. Why did they killed my family? They're… They're just innocent people…
