The Sharks Will Catch You

Juu put on his bag and left to go to an island he was planning on investing in. It is a long trip to get there, but Juu wouldn't pass on this opportunity for nothing. Long trips are just more eventful. The planet they lived in was a tumultuous ball of water in space. Zelox Island was in a bizarre location! It was outside of their planet and had bountiful treasures that could not go to waste. There were two other mers that were investing into it as well, and they were meeting up this moon with their own individual plans on how they were going to use it. Juu was ready to see how this island would prove to be great!

Going to space was not something to take lightly. A mer had to prepare themselves before breaking the water-space barrier. Certain other animals had their own way of getting there, such as the stingray carrier. He wanted to do this himself though. All a mer had to do was break through the barrier once they got to the right altitude. Although a slow process for them to generate the energy for it, sometimes Juu wondered about being able to break through it himself. The pressure towards the surface of the sea is intense and you have to really propel yourself a certain way to break through without major harm as a mer. Some careless ones have broken their necks and lost use of their tails trying to get through. He definitely read up on it and talked to mers that have done this before!

Juu ate a pack of crushed crod mixed with a bitter sweet green sauce. He had a drink of red alga to fuel his energy. He checked his surroundings which were dark and lit up by jellyfish that were doing traffic counts and stops. This area was known for trafficking illegal and dangerous items. He went to one of them and they zapped a pass on his arm that lit up so others knew he was allowed through the passage.

Sirens wailed in the distance. He sped up. Someone was on the move and he was not trying to get caught up in the drama. The Shark and Dolphin Squad were great at what they do, catching suspects. He done heard from the Lionfish Echo News about what was going on this spin. He wrote notes and drew details for to keep for his own records.

Meena looked at Sherrie and giggled. They was eating slime salad. This stuff was supposed to be great for the body. Sherrie had a piece drooling down her face. She threw it at Meena. 

"Ew!" Meena laughed and threw it back. Sherrie ate it.

"Sherrie you is a mess! This stuff is good though." 

"Yes it is! I want to try the Rock Salad next!"

"Me too!" Said Meena.

They both slurped down the rest of it.

They heard sirens nearby and they both looked at each other wide eyed.

"We have to go." Said Meena. Sherrie nodded her head and they both tightened their bags and got out of there.

They saw a rush of bubbles but couldn't quite make out it. They hid behind a rock on the seafloor. Sherrie looked at Meena wide eyed and they both nodded. Sherrie gestured with her hand and they both dipped from cover and carried on to their destination.

Sherrie took out her compass when the coast seemed clear to make sure they were going in the right direction.

Meena knew she was going to hear about this incident next spin. She wondered what happened...
