Chapter 1: The Birth of Kiel Bobadeth and the Dream of Becoming a Bard

"In a world full of magic and tyrants, there was a boy born into the world," a narrator's voice whispered as a baby is shown opening his eyes. "He was named Kiel Bobadeth."

"In this world, you can do magic based on your affinity," the narrator continued. "It can come in one or two forms, and some have even received blessings from the gods due to their strong ambition."

"People can tell what affinities they have because of a ball they touch, which lights up into different colors when they turn 15," the narrator explained.

Two years after Kiel was born, a bard arrived in his town named "Alcombey" , captivating the residents with unheard melodies and captivating tales. Kiel, wide-eyed and captivated, felt an instant connection to the bard's artistry. It was in this moment that a spark ignited within him, a dream to become a travelling bard himself. This newfound ambition would set the course for Kiel's future adventures.

Kiel went up to the bard and said, "Wow, mister! Your songs and stories are so cool! When I'm fifteen, I wanna be just like you!"

"Oh really? Well, I hope you the best then!" the bard replied with a warm smile.

A few years passed, and Kiel's fifteenth birthday finally arrived, marking the moment when he could have his affinity checked at the cathedral. Accompanied by his father, Wyrnn Bobadeth, they entered the sacred space, where statues of gods stood in silent reverence. Kiel's eyes were drawn to the statue of Apollo, the God of music, whom he had fervently worshipped.

As they approached the altar, the priest greeted them warmly. "Welcome, youthful child. It is now time for your affinity to be shown. Touch the ball, and it shall display your affinity."

Kiel approached the altar, his heart pounding with anticipation. He touched the ball, and it illuminated brightly in yellow and blue.

The priest read from a paper and exclaimed, "Oh child, you've been blessed with mana and have two affinities, Light and Water." As he continued reading, he gasped and said, "Child! You have been blessed by the God of music, Imir! Though it doesn't say what it is, so you'll have to find out yourself! You are so lucky!"

Kiel's face lit up with joy upon receiving the blessings and discovering his affinities. When they returned home, Kiel's mother, Toris Bobadeth, prepared a celebratory feast, honoring this momentous occasion. Over dinner, Kiel expressed his burning desire to embark on an adventure, to use his newfound affinities and blessing to craft songs that would touch people's hearts.

"Mom, Dad! I've now gotten my affinities and a blessing from a god! I wanna go on an adventure now and write songs I can sing to people!" Kiel exclaimed.

His Dad replied, "No. You have just discovered your affinity, and you don't even know how to use it yet. You must undergo training before setting out on your journey."

With determination in his eyes, Kiel agreed to his father's guidance. He understood that the path to becoming a true travelling bard would require patience, practice, and a deeper understanding of his affinities. This chapter sets the stage for the challenges and adventures that await Kiel as he embarks on his journey towards fulfilling his dream.

Chapter 2: The Adventurer's Test - Embarking on the Path

Excitement filled Kiel's heart as he set foot in the Adventurer's Guild, ready to prove his worth and officially become an adventurer. Madeline Ashton, the friendly receptionist, greeted him with a warm smile.

"Welcome, Kiel! Today, we will conduct a series of tests to determine your abilities and rank as an adventurer," Madeline explained.

Curiosity sparkled in Kiel's eyes as he looked around the guild, eager to begin his journey. Madeline noticed his gaze and decided to share some insights.

"Let me show you something," she said, reaching for a small ball. "This ball measures your mana capacity. The strength of its glow indicates the amount of mana you possess."

"What's this?" Kiel asked, eyeing the ball with curiosity.

"It's a ball that tells us how much mana we have based on how strong the glow is," Madeline explained. "Touch the ball and send a small amount of mana."

Kiel followed her instructions, gently touching the ball and focusing his mana. As he did so, a small amount of mana flowed from his fingertips, causing the ball to glow brightly.

"Oh wow! Your mana capacity is extraordinary! With this, I'm sure you can help your teammates with support spells with no problem!" Madeline exclaimed, impressed by Kiel's mana capacity.

A sense of pride swelled within Kiel as he realized the potential of his mana capacity. He felt even more determined to hone his skills and become a skilled bard.

Madeline then guided Kiel to the next test, which focused on his physical strength and agility. She presented him with weights and obstacles, challenging him to showcase his physical prowess. Although Kiel's performance was average, he remained determined to improve and push his limits.

With a mischievous smile, Madeline moved on to the final test: assessing Kiel's accuracy. She set up targets and encouraged him to demonstrate his precision with his mana.

As Kiel concentrated, his mana began to take shape, forming a ball of water. With careful control, he sent the water ball flying towards the target, hitting close to the center. Madeline clapped her hands in amazement, impressed by Kiel's accuracy.

"Alright! You are now an adventurer! Your rank is Silver. But if you complete more quests and participate in the ranking up tests, you can ascend to the Gold Rank!" Madeline announced, her voice filled with pride.

Kiel's eyes gleamed with excitement and determination. He had taken the first steps on his adventurer's path, and he was ready to face the challenges that lay ahead.

As Kiel thanked Madeline for her guidance, he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunities that lay before him. With his affinities, blessings, and the support of the Adventurer's Guild, Kiel was ready to compose his own destiny and share his music with the world.

As he looked through quests, Kiel realized that he needed to party up with people to take on certain challenges. While browsing the quest board, he stumbled upon a recruitment poster for a travelling party. Intrigued, he accepted the offer and handed the poster to Madeline.

"Oh, you wish to join this person's crew? Very well, I shall contact him and tell him to be here at 9:30. Please rest until it's time for you to meet him," Madeline said, taking the poster from Kiel.

With little money in his pockets, Kiel pondered where to spend the night. He decided to sleep at the stables, although itchy, it provided him a place to rest. The next day, he woke up and took a refreshing bath at the nearby well before getting dressed. Ready for the day ahead, Kiel made his way to the guild, where Madeline greeted him warmly.

"Hello, Kiel! The person who posted that poster is waiting at the table in the far corner," Madeline informed him.

"Hi, Madeline! And thanks!" Kiel replied with gratitude.

With a renewed sense of purpose, Kiel approached the table, ready to meet his future companions and embark on his first adventure as an official adventurer.
