Chapter 36: Small Big Talk

*General POV*

"How long has it been since las time we saw each other, Virion? Years? Decades...?" Director Goodsky asked, looking at Virion through the transmition scroll.

"Yeah, a looong, long time ago. You aged pretty well Cynthia." Virion said.

"Haha, well it's nice to see you again, doing well and still kicking." She placed her plam on her mouth while laughting.

"So? Why did you call me? I dont recall owing you money." Virion joked.

With a proud expression, Goodsky puffed her chest up and declared. "I just wanted to let you know that I found two exceptionnaly talented kids, I tested them and im 300% sure that in the future they will become one of the pillars of power in this world.

They are called Arthur and Meliodas Leywin, and they are twin brothers, the first one is a quadra elemental mage and the other has some very strong mysterious dark powers. Hahaha I beated you Virion, I found genius students before you. They will attend my academy after they come back from Beats Glade. I WIN!" She was too excited for an old woman, and its weird.

*Yawn* Virion streching his arms in boredome replied. "So this is why you called me? Or is there something else you wanna say?"

"Huh? What do you mean? Did your ears became dull with old age Virion? I said hes a quadra elemental mage, do you realise what that means?"

"Hehe, let me disapoint you Goodsky, you didn't win shit. Those two kids were my disciples for more than three years at Elenoir before they came back home." He mocked her.

"Wait, wait wait..." Cynthia tried to collect herself and put ideas in their place. "So you are telling me that you are the one who trained them and discovered their potential before me. And that they were living at Elenoir for three years?!" Her expression clearly showed how shocked she was.

"Exactly Cynthia, so this means I won and not you hahaha!" He began laughting on her previous meaningless excitement.

"Holy... But I dont understand, humans in your kingdom? Well that is new. Why did you allow them there? Have you gone soft during these last years?" She curiously asked.

"They happen to save my grand-daughters a few years ago, so we allowed them to stay until the portals to Xyrus opened, and whatever you experienced of their powers, it's just the visible part of the icebreg, what is hidden is greater." He explained.

"Well that is no doubt, he is a qudra elemental after all. No one in history was registred as a quadra elemental." Cynthia placed her finger on her chin.

"It is tue that Arthur is a quadra elemental with great mana manipulation and exeptional sword technique, but the other brat is a complete monster. He has a hidden side, a different complete person in him. Its... Demonic and evil. Even his physical abilities are on another realm, if there is someone you should be careful from its Meliodas." After hearing that, Cynthia immedietly recalled the day she tested him.

She could never forget that black mark that appeared on his forehead, and the overwhelming evil aura that it brought with it, she was for the first time in decades terrified and scared, even her wyvern pet wanted to run for his life, if it wasn't for his loyalty.

Still drowning in a wave of ideas and memorie, Virion's voice brought her back to reality. "This is a point, another point is their contracted mana beasts. Im sure you already saw them." As Virion was explaining, his grin grew wider with time.

"Yeah, I did see their mana beasts. Meliodas has a snake lizzard and Arthur had a fox like creature right?" She said.

Tiltling his head left and right, with his eyes closed and arms crossed under his chest, Virion corrected. "Wrong Cynthia, very wrong. The mana beast you saw the other day were in fact Dragons my dear..."

If Cynthia was trying to be calm all this time, at this moment she completely snapped, interrupting Vrion as she stood up from her seat slapping the tables. "D-D-DRAGONS!! You mean real dragons right?! Dragons became their mana beasts with contracts on equal grounds!?"

"HAHAHA, now that's more like it. This is the reaction I wanted, but this is not all, they even have a dragon's beast will inside them!" Virion waved his index finger like a sage teaching his disciple.

Losing all power in her legs, Cynthia fell back on her chair. "Okay..." Cynthia took a few minutes for herself to calm down and think everything trough, then she asked. "There must be a reason why you are telling me all of that, please tell me."

"Yeah your are right, there are two reasons that made me tell you this, the first one is that I trust you, I know if I tell you that, then it will stay between us. As for the second reason, you already said it before. These two kids are going to grow to become the pillars of balance for our world and continent.

We must keep them at out side not matter what, this dosent mean I dont trust them, its quite the opposite. But we should make them feel wanted and welcomed. To do that while they are there in Sapin, make sure to do whatever they ask for." Virion said with a serious expression.

*Elenoir Kingdom*

"Im sorry princess, but something is blocking us from looking at your friend." Rinia who was holding a crystal ball said to Elizabeth.

"Does this mean I wont be able to see him at all." Elizabeth asked.

"Im sorry to tell you that as long as this thing is blocked we wont be able to see him." Elizabeth had a disapointed and defeated face looking down.

"Here you are Eli, I've been looking for you." Virion suddently came in without even knocking or making a sound.

"Grandpa! What are you doing here!?" Elizabeth's face began turning red.

"This is what I should ask." Looking at Rinia and the illuminating crystal in her hand, then back to Elizabeth, a smile formed on his face. "Oohhh I see why you are here, you came to see your husband huh? Well dont worry he's at beast glad..."

"GRANDPAAA!!!" With a scarlet red face, Elizabeth interrupted Virion while running out of the house towards the carriage, trying to hide her embarassed face.

"Did you manage to find him? Even I am curious what he is doing right now." Virion turned towards Rinia, he asked her still standing since he dosen't have time for a long chat.

"I tried many time but I ended up failing each time. I feel something blocking me from getting close to him. It's very weird." Rinia placed back the crystal on the wooden shelf.

"Something blocking? Umm... Meliodas does have a mana beast that can control space. It must be it protecting Meliodas from spies. It dosent matter anyways, he will do just fine, he a complete beast, like a wild dragon!" Virion declared, walking out of the place.

*Somewhere in beast Glades*

'Papa, someone is trying to spy on us! But worry not, Amaya is blocking them from watching us, hehehe!' Proudly said Amaya, expecting head pats.

'Someone spying on us? Who could it be? Well it dosent matter as long as yout stoping them. Good job Amaya.' I satisfed her desire by patting her head and giving her a piece of meat in her mouth.

"Hey! What are you slacking off for! Get back to training." Lucy shouted froo afar.

*Sigh* "Aight, Aight, here I come...' I replied jogging towards the team.
