Trip to Kirigakure

1 month later

It's been a while since Sumire's arrest, but she came back to the academy 2 weeks later. And to be honest, it's now getting boring around here since there is nothing fun to do right now. However, some exciting things happened over time. Like how Sarada and ChoCho left the village to find their dads.

Then they met this wannabe Uchiha, made by Orochimaru from long ago. All in all, he was killed and there was a bunch of mini wannabe Uchiha children with him and are in a hidden orphanage. I even heard the Sarada unlocked her Sharingan and found her father as well.

With all of this stuff out of the way, I am currently sitting in my classroom while Shino sensei is doing who knows what. I could look to my left and see some of my classmates starting to fall asleep. Yup, I'm done with this I'm going to sleep now.

"Class may I have your attention, tomorrow we are going on a field trip to Kirigakure" Shino spoke all of a sudden. This suddenly got my attention as I listened to what Shino was talking about.

"Make sure you pack your bags and ready for tomorrow and next week of staying in Kirigakure" Shino spoke before dismissing us to go home. Quickly leaving and teleporting to my room I quickly packed my bags for tomorrow. Once I finished packing my bags I quickly went to bed and fell asleep instantly not giving a fuck about eating for today.

Next Day

Once the sunlight hit my eyes, I slowly started getting up. Silently cursing the sun for its existence 'Maybe I should get me some curtains' I thought before heading towards the kitchen. Once arriving, I tell my mom that I'm going on a class field trip. Looking shocked at first then she smiled and bid me farewell. Then Himawari came up to me and asked for a souvenir when I come back. I told her that I would and then grabbed my bag and left. Quickly checking my bag to see if I forgot anything 'Okay all I have is ketchup, ok were good'. "Wait a minute" I yelled as I threw my bag to my room I just teleported to.

Once I finished checking on my ketchup, I teleported to the entrance of the academy. Heading to my classroom I could see that Sarada, Shikadai, and Inojin. They looked at me when I was holding nothing for the trip.

"Hey Boruto where's your bag," asked Sarada.

"Uh, this is all I'm bringing," I said as I pointed at my clothing.

They shrugged and they continued to stare off somewhere while I just laid down on my table to sleep for a bit. Before I could even close my eyes the door opened and many more of my friends and classmates came inside and began to converse with other people. Sighing in annoyance I got up and decided to play Shinobi Bout with my friends.

After going on my, as usual, 4 game losing streak and nearly throwing my deck of cards out the window, I left to the restroom. Once the coast was clear I took out my ketchup bottle and took a swig and came back to class. Once entering I saw Shino sensei explaining what going to happen on the trip and who will be the leader of the class.

I could see Sarada and she smirked. "I think Boruto would be good for the job" she claimed while pointing at me. Some people looked at her then me then they smirked and agreed with her. 'Fuck you motherfucker' I thought as everyone was soon agreeing that I would-be leader.

Once Shino officially assigned me as the leader we all walked as a class towards the train station. Upon reaching the train station the whole class was taunting me on what to do.

"What do we do now Boruto," asked Mitsuki. I'm sure he was being honest on this one.

"Yeah what do we do Boruto" Sarada claimed, emphasizing my name?

*sigh*"Just sit down, shut up and cause fucking anarchy or whatever" I responded while yawning. 'Man I need a nap here' I thought as we all entered. Upon sitting down, I handed out my Shinobi Bout cards to Shikadai and told him to do whatever the fuck he wants. Once he left I got off my jacket and wrapped it around my whole body as I was soon falling asleep not knowing that I undid my Henge was now in my 'original' form.

Unknown town

Upon waking up I could see the train stopping into an unknown town with a harbor. Upon noticing my original form I quickly used my Henge and began looking around the cart. Ok, it seems that everyone was doing their things and was beginning to get their belongings and head outside. With nothing to grab, I went outside to join my classmates. I could see Shino talking to who seems to be a harbormaster. Ignoring them I went to Shikadai and asked for my Shinobi Bout cards. He returned them to me and asked about how my nap was which I responded by saying how good it felt.

Looking back towards Shino sensei I could see him standing in front of a ship talking to the captain and his seamen. Getting bored I decided to look at a nearby stand to see what they were selling. After looking for a bit I could see a stand selling grilled squid on a stick. However, I decide to order cheap for which being 2 squids for 5 Ryo. Getting the two squids I was eating one when I could see Sarada standing by herself. Walking up to her I offered her one which she took while blushing for a bit 'I wonder why is she blushing'.

Once we ate our squid we both returned to the harbor where Shino was urging us to get on board. When we entered Shino sensei told us that the trip to Kirigakure would take the whole day, he showed us where 'all' us were we would be sleeping. Then we had the day and ship to ourselves. I decided to hang out on the balcony looking North of the ship. When I arrived there I saw Sarada again.

Seeing it was just as I asked "Why did you want me to be the class leader".

She smirked and replied, "I just wanted to make you suffer with what I have to deal with". She then turned around and giggled which I mimicked while saying "Oh yeah, screw you then". Laughing she ran off and I chased her having to give her a piece of my mind on the subject. Once she stopped and turned around I was about to ask until "You guys make a good couple".

Looking behind me I could see Mitsuki standing there smiling at us. We both blushed and denied it while I was saying a few cuss words here and there. I was getting tired and decided to head to our room where the whole class was sleeping. Entering I could see Iwabe motioning me to his group. Once joining them they asked me if I wanted to play Shinobi Bout and I agreed. 'You know what I'm going to do something here' I thought as I hid my face behind my deck of cards and activated my Jougan.

Time skip

Holy crap this is working, I have been on a 5 game winning streak ever since playing with my Jougan. And man if you could see how pissed how my friends are right now. I could see Iwabe hitting Lee in the head and rage quit after. Shikadai and Inojin were sweating like a horny couple after you know what. Meanwhile here I am laughing my ass off as I just won again. Deciding I had enough I deactivated my Jougan and got all my cards and went to a corner where I told everyone goodnight. Again taking off my jacket and wrapping it around my whole body and dispelled my Henge I quickly fell asleep.

The next day, Location: Kirigakure

Waking up and applying my Henge I got up looking at a nearby window, I could see this huge city emerging from a thick fog. I quickly woke everyone by kicking everybody awake and claiming that we're here. Once everyone got their bags and ate breakfast we waited outside and waited for docking.

With the ship fully docked we all exited the shipped and took in our foreign surroundings. I could see everyone in awe at the city looks and to the people. Quickly nudging Shino sensei wanting to hurry this up faster. Shino nodding in understanding herded all of our classmates and began walking through the cities. I decided to stay behind for a bit and looked toward a nearby stand. The stand was selling seashell necklaces and thinking of Himawari I bought one so I can give it to her. Putting the necklace in my pocket I rushed back to catch up with my friends.

As we were walking Shino stopped in front of this blond-haired shinobi with a Kiri forehead proctor on his head. When Shino gestured the blond kid forward he gave a bow. "Hello my name's Kagura and I will be your guide for your stay in Kirigakure" He claimed before stepping beside Shino.

Looking to my left I could see all the girls swoon over him while the guys looked on with confusion. 'Yeah I don't know how girls work either' I thought as we began moving towards what seems to be Kiri's version of the academy. As we were walking through the academy. Kagura seemed to stop in front of a huge pool where I could see another person training with six other people.

"Hey Shizuma, how are you" waved Kagura.

Shizuma seemed to notice us and began walking towards us while gesturing the six other people towards him. He began looking at the class until he stopped to look at me. He smirked and said, "Well, well isn't it the Hokage's son". I stayed quiet not wanting to get into another fight.

"What are you doing with this kid. He seems so weak you can beat him with one hand" he taunted. Now getting pissed I shouted, "Shut up".

"Oh is that a challenge, well Kagura teach this kid a lesson" He gestured to Kagura before walking off to who knows were. Looking at my sensei he nodded as I both walked to the pool. We both stood on top of the pool with wooden swords and took a stance.

Deciding to take the first move, Kagura moved way too fast for me to see so I instinctively duck when his wooden sword missed my head by a few inches. With his stomach towards me, I swung sideways intending to hit his pelvis area. He dodged and jumped up and again was too fast to dodge as he struck me in the head. Sinking into the water and rubbing my head, I looked up at him and he looked at me in shock. 'It looks like he's seen a monster' I thought before looking at myself. My eyes widen as I could see my skeleton hands 'Oh no, he knows the truth'. Quickly applying my Henge, I launched myself up and hit Kagura in the chin knocking him up before kicking him down to the pool.

Struggling to get up I offered him a hand and when he did I spoke quietly "Well talk about this later". Once we regrouped with my class, my sensei decided to head to our hotel. And when we were walking, my classmates were praising me for defeating a so-called chunin. I ignored them and was looking at Kagura 'Man, what am I going to do now'. Sometimes I could see Kagura look at me as well. We ignored each other and continued on our way to a hotel.

At a random hotel

When we arrived at a hotel, Shino sensei assigned an all boys and all girls room to us so we can enjoy ourselves. When I was leaving for the hotel room, I could hear my friends urging Kagura to hang out with us and play Shinobi Bout. He reluctantly agreed and we all headed to our room.

Once entering, my friends called dibs on any spot comfy enough to sleep on. And placing their bags on that said spot they took my Shinobi Bout cards and asked for me to play. I agreed sitting next to Kagura. While getting my cards, I hid my face behind my deck and activated my Jougan. I could feel Kagura's gaze on me and I looked at him and could see his shocked face. I urged him to play his card and we just played through the night.

It was nighttime and I was on a six-game winning streak and as usual, my friends are getting pissed and rage quitting. Finally, after a bit, my friends claimed that they were going to sleep. Getting up, Kagura urged me to go outside on the balcony with him.

Once I was outside with him, Kagura turned to me and demanded "Would you please explain yourself what was that".

'Here goes nothing' I thought before turning to him.
