{ Part 1.9 }

(y/n)'s pov:

Today's the day, that they are going to experiment on Eren's titan form. He's already in the well while Hange telling when he should change and so on. Levi order us to stay back in case something's goes wrong, only to engage when he gives us a sign.

Hange shoot the green gas telling Eren to change now. Time goes on, and nothing happened. I know that Eren don't know how to change, yet. He'll figure himself, later. Then Hange and Levi went to Eren.

'Oi, you don't have to to it anymore.' Levi yelled at Eren while working towards the well. 'Is something wrong' then Hange look down at the well saw Eren with lots of blood.

They pulled out Eren from the well and his hands are full of blood, also his mouth. I know it will heal soon, but I can't help but got worry when I saw his hand.

'Come here, Eren. If you don't change then just stop biting your hand. I'll help bandage you up.' I drag Eren with me and made him sit down at the nearest seat. I start to put some alcohol to his wounds. He winced due to too much pain.

'Your wounds will heal soon.' I then start to bandage his hand. 'There, all done. I'm gonna clean all of this. Just go sit with them. I'll come over in a minute.' Eren nodded at me and went to them.

'Need help?' I got startled by the sudden voice. Then I realized it was Levi.

'No, it's ok, Captain. Thanks for your help.'

'I told you to just call me Levi.'

'Well, my comrades are just a few feet from here and I don't want to get the wrong impression from them, Captain.' Just as then, an explosion happen around the tables.

I rush to Eren knowing what's gonna happen next. I ready my gear and pull out the swords, and starts to cover Eren. Levi came to my side and ready his gears as well. The fog dispersed and I saw Oluo and others pointing their sword at Eren.

I heard Eren grunts. 'Why did it have to happen now?'

'Calm down.' Levi says to his cadets. Eren thought that Levi was talking to him and answer, 'Captain Levi, I didn't mean to.....' then he stop knowing Levi was not talking to him but to his cadets.

'I'm telling you to calm down, every one.' Levi tries to calm them down. They all are scared and look at him with hatred, ready to kill him in a flash.

'Eren, what is your purpose for doing it right now? Why did you change without permission? Answer me.' Eld yelled at Eren.

'Wait, Eld it's not he did it on purpose. Wait for him to explain.' I say back at Eld.

'Answer him, Eren. What are you planning to do?' Oluo shout back.

'Wait, explain later. Prove it to us that you won't give us any danger. Say it now. Isn't explaining now your job?.' Gunther yells as he get closer to Eren.

'That's what he trying to do, but you guys won't stop talking.' I said getting in front of Eren, making Gunther stop from going near to Eren.

'If you even dare to move your hand for an inch, just know that your head is gonna gone in a sec. I'm really gonna do that.' Oluo continues to say making Eren scares more.

'Hold on, Oluo. I told you to calm down.' Levi shout back to Oluo.

'Corporal! (y/n), stay away from Eren. Don't stay close to him.' Petra yells to Levi.

'You are the one who should put down your sword and stay away. Eren didn't do anything wrong.' I yell getting more angry by what she says.

The commotion goes on with a lot of yelling. Levi tries to calm them, but they are all panicking. Gosh, they all are getting to my nerves. 'Can all of you shut up for a second?' Eren yells with frustration.

'Eren, can I touch you hand? Is it fine to touch it? I'm touching it.' Hange joined breaking the tense moment. I saw her touch his hand and got burn by it. Then Eren saw his hand stuck in the titan form and starts to pull it out.

'Eren, don't even think to move your hand.' As then Oluo move forward to Eren, making me stop Oluo with my sword. 'Don't even dare to move a step or you won't even know that I cut you.' I threatened him.

'Oi (y/n), pull back your sword now.' I pull back my sword with hesitation when Levi ordered me. Levi went Eren and ask, 'How was it, Eren?'

'It's not that good, Captain.' Eren answer with pants. 'Let's go back, Eren. Hold on to me.' I help Eren stand up and went back to the HQ. I know how they deal with this but I feel more angry when I experienced this in person.

'Eren, are you ok?'

'I guess. It's just I thought they trust me but I know their true intentions after this happen.'

'Just know that Levi and I are on your side, ok? Also Hange. Try not to let this thing get to you. Go wash up now. Your hand's already healed now.  I'll be waiting for you in the dining room, ok?' I sent to his room and walk back to my room, seeing Petra there.

'(y/n) I'm sorry for what I said back there. I was scared and thought he's gonna kill all of us. Please forgive me, (y/n).' Petra apologize to me.

'I don't want to talk right now, Petra.' I slammed the door making Petra to not enter my room.

The time for our meeting is in a minute. So, I went to the dining room. Sit down on the furthest chair. I'm kind of still mad on how they react on Eren. I know they got scared but I can't help it.

As I wait, they all come in one by one. Now only Eren and Levi is left. Also Hange and her assistant Moblit Berner is here as well. Then Moblit went out for a moment and come back with Levi and Eren.

'Did you guys wait too long?' Levi ask as he comes into the room.

'Nope, it's only been for a while actually. We don't know the answers yet but look at this.' Hange says as she unfold the handkerchief showing us there's a spoon inside of it.

'Teaspoon?'

'Yes, when Eren change to his titan's form, his titan's hand was holding this, between the thumb and the second finger. It's might be a coincidence but the titan heat didn't get to this teaspoon. Did you remember anything before you pick up this spoon? Hange explain to us and ask Eren.

Eren answers that the titan form suddenly change out of a sudden. Then Hange look like she find the answer.

'You need to have a target to change into your titan form. When you first change, you think like this, 'I'll kill the titans.' 'I'll protect them from the canon.' Just like that you have to find your main target then you'll be able to change.'

'I know how I felt when I last change as a titan form. But changing while picking up the spoon don't felt like that. I don't even felt anything.' Eren felt unsure as he look down to his hands.

'So you mean, you got change into it without your own permission?' Gunther asked. Eren nodded.

He grunt out and give a nod to the other three. They bite their hands out of a sudden. Ohhh that must hurt. Well at least they felt guilty.

'Sorry, Eren for not trusting in you. I hope you would forgive us. And from now on we'll trust each other. Also (y/n) we're all sorry to you too. I know you were protecting Eren. Will you bothe forgive us?' Petra says and they all said sorry to us. I wish I could stay mad but they asking for forgiveness.

I just nodded and smile at them. 'It's nothing to say sorry about, I already have forgive all of you.' Eren says with a smile.

'So (y/n), are we good now?' Petra ask me. 'Nope.' I tease her as I plug my tongue out😝. 'Why, you little?' She said as she chase around me. I then run fast not to get caught and hide behind Levi.

'Captain, You got to save me. She's scary when she's like that.' Levi chuckle out a little. Did he laugh? I get caught afterwards because I stop to gaze at Levi's laugh. There were full of joy and laugh surrounding us when that happen. Glad we all went back to our normal self.

But will this happiness last? (y/n), enjoy it while it happen. Stop thinking negative thoughts. All of us will be ok. I'll make sure of it.

Time goes on and it's the time that we all have to sleep. We all say 'goodnights' to each other and went to our rooms. I change to my pajamas and lay on my bed thinking about the event that happens today. It was complicated but the outcome was great.

I smile as I fell into a deep sleep.
