Some Leisure

"Look!" Laira placed a projector on the floor, and put her hands on her waist with a proud demeanor on her face.

The 3D image of a 3rd Gen Tier 9 appeared, attracting Sy's attention. He studied the medium mech closely, noticing that it was customized thoughtfully with care. It carried a lightweight dual booster on its back like a backpack. A cool looking energy rifle was held by both hands.

Sy swiped the 3D image to a different angle, and gazed at its rear. As he expected, there were other weapons well hidden from its front. Two daggers and a pistol were safely tucked inside a compartment on the back of its waist. The mech should easily retrieve them when the pilot pressed a trigger in the cockpit.

"This is my reward from Ortius." The teenager smiled, but pouted after, "Although, it's not as good as the Centurion."

"Well, this mech is real. The centurion is only crafted in the virtual reality, Ms. Runerie." Sy said, observing the teenager, relieved after he was sure that she did not signed him up for another tournament.

"I should go clean up my apartment." Laira muttered, retrieving the projector, "Big sis is coming."

"Big sis?" Sy's eyes followed the teenager as she skipped away. Scratching his chin, he remembered the beautiful woman at the end of the tournament, "Oh, Genevieve."

Now, that he thought about it, Mina and Niel should be coming back to Logria three days from now. Since he saw the women arguing nonstop, he did not dare imagine what would happen when they were both living under a single building.

Sy waited outside for another hour. Niel's mech facility was scheduled to be upgraded today. After another hour, an industrial transport ship finally hovered over the vast courtyard, accompanied by a few personnel from the Starport, using hover bikes and aerial escorts to safely guide the massive vessel. When it successfully landed, they all dispersed back to the heart of the city.

The young Pioneer went down and greeted the workers. A man wearing a white safety helmet approached.

"I'm Flint. Nice to meet you, Sy. Niel Fanick told me you're in charge here at the moment. We are not on time since the Starport was just too outdated, and we needed to avoid the atmospheric resistance. It might damage the goods." The man said, and continued, "Just sign the documents here, and I'll unleash my foremans to lead the boys."

Sy read the papers for a few minutes, and took a glance at the new layout for the facility. It was meant for the production of mech through and through. Without seeing any problem with the procedure, he signed and retreated back to his apartment. He saw that Flint had a troubled look on his face as they were behind schedule, so he let them do what they do best.

Inside, his attention was directed to the packages. Since this was the best time while everyone was still away to generate the peak designs, he unwrapped the items out, fixing them on the table, and putting the names whom they belonged to. The abundant stock of sweets was for everyone so he just poured them on a container.

'I should make some partitions where I could place their bed some other time. They should have a place of their own.' Sy thought and proceeded to transfer the lessons he created into their computers.

When he was done, he went outside to scout the other tenants. The only other occupant in the second floor was Mrs. Daniels since the apartment they sandwiched was empty. The woman kept to herself as her husband was working in a mining company and was always away from home. They had no children, but they were a sweet couple almost in their sixties.

'I should introduce the girls first to Laira. She will not suspect anything. Second.. Uhhhh.. Emma? Oh sh*t!' Sy almost pulled out his hair thinking about the witty yellow hair.

'Well, since Emma said that she'll be mostly away, I should make the girls familiar with the other tenants. She will not think of anything by then if she saw that they are well known in the neighborhood.'

'I should inform Niel about their arrival. Mina knew I'm from the Federation and would have told him already. I'll just tell them they are relatives.'

With a smirk, he went back to his apartment.

'System.. Let's do this!' Sy rubbed his chest nervously.

[The Human Generator will base everything on the materials' adult form.]

[The generation will take its toll. Please be aware that your precious System might not appear for a day.]

"Yes.. yes. You're my precious System. Come give me a hug." Sy joked, and received the reaction he expected.

[You are being unreasonable again!]

"Maybe I should make a new design where we can transfer your consciousness, System. We can then hug each other." Sy suggested. But then realized later that it might probably work. He pondered about its possibility.

[You can go f*ck yourself!]

Seeing the new message from the System, Sy bursted out in laughter. He did not expect it to react like that.

[Please take a seat.]

Sy did as told, clearing his throat. He mentally switched to the Human Generator function and new lines appeared.

[3 materials detected.]

[Activate special bonus?]

Before choosing the option, he uttered, "I'll see you in a day System."

Suddenly, he felt his body become enfeebled mysteriously. His vision started to blur as particles exited from his physical form. It was like they had a consciousness of their own, gathering on three separate areas.

"This energy.." He managed to speak. Even though he could not properly see, he could feel its presence. There was warmth, cold.. and other senses he could not describe. The urge to study it, made him fight the drowsiness fiercely, but ultimately failed.

In his faint and faulty sight, he saw the very fabric of space open up - revealing a subspace behind it, before three figures stepped out. He passed out for a few minutes without him noticing.

Sy's mind drifted into the void. Cold and empty. Just as he saw a particle of light dancing.. he was awakened after feeling a repeated tap on his cheek. His eyes slowly opened, and instantly registered a young girl with dark-gold hair lightly poking her index finger on his face.

He hastily got up, sweeping his gaze around. Two more girls were staring at him from a few feet away with a concerned look on their faces. The three were wearing an identical pair of grey long sleeves and long pants.

"Ah!" Sy had come to his senses, and excitedly called out their names, "Jinae, Nasena and Vii. I have a present for you three."

He motioned the trio to the table and handed them out each a basket with their name on it. The girls took their present and went to the couch to inspect its content, sitting at the same time.

This time, Sy had a better sight to observe them. Jinae had a stunningly luminous silver hair. One can notice it even from far away. Her emotionless grey eyes had an otherworldly feature just like the other two - dotted with multiple colors. The young Pioneer had noted while exploring the Human Generator that these cells had different roles. If one activated, it would enhance the girls' vision in a specific way.

Nasena's dark-gold hair was even more notable to him. Unlike the silver hair, she knew how to make some expressions on her face such as smiling. She had golden eyes, sprinkled with different colors.

Vii had a pitch-black hair as well as dark eyes almost devouring the multicolored dots in its canvass. She had a neutral look on her face while throwing away the clothes, and only seeing a few which she deemed worthy of her attention.

Overall, they only exuded a fragment of their adult self, but one can already see that they will grow into a supernatural form.

Suddenly, Jinae stood up and threw a dress on the floor. Sy felt as if the building had shaken after she expressed her fury. It was only in his mind.

With an emotionless face and voice, she muttered, "I don't need this crap! Don't ever give me that crap!"

Sy awkwardly chuckled. After all, the shop owner was the one who recommended the clothes, saying she had three daughters.

Soon, each lost interest in the present and their attention was drawn to the tablets. They each took their designated device, but instead of playing or watching, a different behavior occured. The trio found the lessons that Sy had created for them, and began skimming through all the branches of mathematics.

The young Pioneer went closer to provide assistance if they needed one. However, he was terrified when he saw them solving the complex problems at a very quick pace, just right after they finished breezing through the lessons. He took out the xeno artifact in his pocket, and pondered, 'Maybe they can study it on their own while I go make some money.'
