The Talent Show Sign Ups

12:00 came around soon enough and the valet knocked on my door. 2 minutes after, I gave up trying to figure out which dress I should wear to lunch and just randomly grabbed one and got ready, I put my hair in a twisted and curled low chignon and wore a pink lace sheer neck puffy elegant ball gown with pink elegant scalloped high heels. The prince, Emily and a few other participants were already at the table in the middle of the courtyard covered by a camping canopy tent. It was so colorful, peaceful, and just a place I never thought existed. Emily and I talked about the scenery while the other participants arrived. When the last participant had a seat, the food was served. My plate was a Shrimp & Lobster Risotto. When everyone was finished eating I went back to my room and drew the scenery from in the courtyard. As I was drawing my mother called me and said, " Hey sweetheart, I know you're probably busy but I wanted to inform you that The Spring Talent Show is next month on the 16th, if you would like to sign up." When I heard that it felt like my heart jumped out of my chest. Emily and I have always participated in The Spring Talent Show ever since we were 6 years old. There has never been a year that we didn't go. The Spring Talent Show is a community talent show for all ages and only happens during the spring. My first thought was, " I have to tell Emily!" So after my mother hung up, I rushed out of my room and straight to Emily's room. I knocked on the door and she invited me in. I told her about The Spring Talent Show but she said, " Yeah I know, my mom called and told me yesterday. " I gasped and said, " You already knew, my mom just called me today and told me. Why didn't you tell me?" She answered apologetically, " I thought you already knew, I'm sorry." I said, " We should tell the prince, and beg him if we have to, to let us sign up for the talent show. " I was about to walk out of the room when Emily stopped me and said, " The prince is unavailable from 12:30 to 4:45!" Then I said, " But Mr. Williams will be around to assist us anytime. " So we walked around the palace looking for Mr. Williams and finally found him sitting, reading a book in the library. We said, " Mr. Williams, there is a talent show on the 16th next month and we would like to attend it. " Mr Williams responded, " I will pass the message to Prince Max. "
