Where it all started

It was a rainy evening when father decided to go for Pokémon fishing, he wore his raincoat, brought his bucket and his fishing rod.

"I gonna go outside son, maybe Goldeen and Seaking might attracted with this rain. You want to join me?" he said.

" I don't want it dad, Its cold out there, I'll just stay here" I answered.

He went outside and bring with him his Lapras and his Milotic.

I will explain why pops is catching Goldeen and Seaking, The reason he is catching it is for research purpose and not for consumption... we don't kill Pokémon for consumption hehehehehe ...

Goldeen has an elegant color combination that resembles like a ballroom dress and it is known as " The Water dancer" for showing elegant movements when swimming, but this Pokémon is quite aggressive, they usually swim with large schools so humans that may intervene must be cautious in order to avoid its ramming behavior.

Dad is an expert about them he studied them for 2 years and he had experienced their wild temperament, he had catch a lot of them and measure their horns, he focused on that study where the thickest and strongest horns we're kept for his analysis and those with thin ones we're released back.

However, Seaking are rarely to be seen by numbers they usually swim together with their partners and exhibits an elegant movements during mating season where the male dances as a sign of courtship, their horns and dorsal fins we're attractive to some poachers that can be sell for good price.

Dad, has two pairs of Seaking on his mini pond that is connected to the river system, these pairs are captured for the purpose of his studies about them. Once the pair, lays egg; Dad would go through their cages and collect at least two eggs and he will put them in a aquarium-like incubator. His studies we're review by Misty, a well-known Water Pokémon trainer/breeder and researcher in our city.

It is been five long hours since pops went out, its getting late, mom woke me up and told me to look for dad outside, she is getting worried. It is still raining outside and cold. I went to the river and look for dad I also brought some coffee for him, for sure he's cold..

It was very dark luckily, I bring a flashlight to light my path, as I walk I the river is very wavy, that our boats were dancing through it. Then, I heard a sound of a vehicle coming and pass by. After a five minute walk I saw dad measuring a Seaking's horn, I felt cold shivers through my body as the heavy rain sounded to the surroundings.

"Dad!, I called him"

" oh son! Why are you here? It's very cold here" he said.

"Mom is worried about you, let's go home its getting late."

"Okay son I'll just finish this and return it and we can go home."

Dad finishes his measurement and set free the wild Seaking he caught, and drink some coffee before we leave.

"Dad, how many did you caught?" I asked.

" I caught 5 Goldeen and that Seaking, Its really hard to detect their feeding manner when rainy, I was wrong about their behavior when its raining. Only few of them are attracted to the cold waters."

"did you caught a big one?"

"Aahhhh yes!, A goldeen that measures like that paddle but its horn was cut off, It must be a victim of poachers.. (He wondered)

" What is a poacher dad?" I asked curiosly.

"They we're bad people capturing Pokémon just for profit."

" Aaaaahhhhh ... I see ... that Goldeen is pitiful to see. those guys does not have conscience huhhhhh....."

" You're too young to son, There are lot of things that you will getting to know in the coming years". Dad said

" As I grow up, I want to become a Pokémon Enforcer just like Officer Jenny and detained those people doing bad to our Pokémon." I bravely answered in which dad laugh about.

" Alright son! Hehehehehe.. come on let's go home"

As the moment we stood up we saw a flock of Wingull has drove away by something beaneath that trees on the nearby cliff.

Wingull, is a small, white Pokémon similar in appearance to a seagull. Its head makes up a large portion of its body, and it appears to lack a neck. Wingull has thin, simplistic eyes, two triangular tufts on top of its head, and an orange beak with a hooked, black tip. Three blue-tipped feathers give it a fan-like tail and its small, orange feet have two webbed toes. Wingull has long, flat wings with light blue stripes near the tips.

By extending its wings, it can catch updrafts and glide across the sky. Wingull folds its wings only when it is resting. It builds its nests on steep cliffs by the sea, and habitually hides prey and valuables in various locations using its beak. In Alola, Wingull's main predator is Talonflame, which attacks and catches them with powerful kicks. It circles above oceans looking for its favorite food, Wishiwashi, to eat. Fishermen use this skill to locate areas teeming with fish Pokémon. It also loves to eat Finneon who jump up on the sea surface.

Dad use his flashlight to see what's hidden the darkness in that area, There he saw two man wearing black suit and currently using illegal materials to lure Pokémon in their area. They use a casting net to catch as many Goldeen that lured to them. Dad shouted at them and they hurriedly pack their stuff.

Before they would escape, Dad summons Milotic and Lapras in order to chase them and arrest them if necessary.

"Come on out! Milotic, Lapras!"

oooooommmm... Miiiiiii.... , Laaaaaaaaaaa....

Milotic dashes through the other side of the river and started the chase, me and dad ride on Lapras back and follow Milotic. The criminals started to drive away with their boat.

Milotic is an aquatic, serpentine Pokémon with a primarily cream-colored body. It has red eyes with long, pinkish antennae above them. Additionally, there are long, hair-like fins above its eyes, which begin thin and thicken towards the tips. These eyebrows extend to almost half of Milotic's body length and will be longer on the female than the male. On top of its relatively small head is a straight spike. Running down either side of its neck are three black dots, similar to gills. Its lower body is a pattern of blue and pink, diamond-shaped scales outlined with black. The tail consists of four large, blue fins with pink ovals in their centers. Each of the tail fins overlaps the next slightly, causing it to resemble a fan. Milotic's scales are said to change color depending on the viewing angle.

Milotic is said to be the most beautiful of all Pokémon. In fact, it is said to have inspired many artists in their works. When there are fights going on, it has the power to calm angry feelings and end arguments by releasing a wave of energy. In addition, it can move by floating in the air as shown in the anime. It lives at the bottom of large lakes.

Lapras is a large sea Pokémon that resembles a plesiosaur. It has a blue hide with darker blue spots and a cream-colored underside. It has large brown eyes, a short horn on its forehead, and tightly curled ears. It has a long neck and four flippers. The foremost flippers are larger than the hind. On its back is a heavy, gray shell covered in blunt knobs.

Lapras is a gentle, helpful Pokémon that enjoys ferrying people across bodies of water. In the past, its docility made it an easy target for hunters, and it was driven to near-extinction. Recent protection efforts have seen Lapras become overabundant instead, which is now affecting the fish Pokémon numbers in some areas. An intelligent Pokémon, it is able to understand human speech. Lapras have been known to travel in large pods across the seas, spanning both polar and tropical areas. To keep in touch with other of its kind, it sings enchanting melodies.

As we near on them, dad confront them on what are they doing in the river on a late hours, one of them said that they'd just went out fishing while the other seems to be hideous. As dad approach to the boat, he saw many Goldeen Horns and Krabbys that is placed on a cage. Dad knows what is going so he said to them that they must surrender those horns or else he would forcely arrest them. That time a serious danger takes place, The two poachers summons Tentacruel and Scizor.

"Milotic use Hydropump!" Dad ordered.

Miiiiiiiiii........

"Counter it Tentacruel, using Ice beam to freeze it!"

Tentaaaaaa,, Crueeeeeelllll.....

Dad is not able to use Lapras in batle since we are riding on it, so Milotic is battling against those two.

"Milotic use Water Pulse!"

It is a direct hit on Tentacruel.

"Scizor use agility."

Sciiiiiiiizoooor....

That Scizor was fast and hit Milotic easily, and the Tentacruel attacks too using toxic. Milotic is now poisoned and dad was worried, he orders his pokemon to retreat but Scizor attacks again using double team and knock off milotic, As dad will return Milotic, the other guy uses a stun gun and hit dad that made him down and unconscious. The other guy catches the poisoned Milotic and head to their way.

I ordered Lapras to follow them and throw some Ice beam on them, but they are fast enough to chase, Then I saw one of them just cut Milotic's tail and throw him back at us. I was so angry and I don't know what to do ..... I am so nervous.. my heart just melted.. I started to cry...

"Dad wake up!!! Dad !! Dad !! " I shouted while crying.

"Milotic's tail was cut ... Dad !!! "

Dad woke up and ask what happen to the poachers,

"They're gone dad. They took Milotic's Tail" Cried

Dad took Milotic and rush to the nearest Pokémon Center, His Pokémon was mortally wounded and poisoned. I am very worried if what will happen to Milotic. That moment I promised to myself that I would do anything to catch those criminals who did that to Milotic. Luckily, Dad's Pokémon has recovered from the poison but it's tail was permanently gone.

Next morning, we drove to the Pokémon Police Station nearby and reported the incident to Officer Allen, head of Cerulean City Pokémon Conservation Enforcer. Dad was right, Those are poachers that catches Pokémon and some mutilate their parts in order to sell them in black market for high value price, believing it could be a medicinal material or for collection materials.

"Dad, I'm so sorry for what happen to your Milotic"

" It's okay son its not your fault either, Milotic is better now. The blame is on those two poachers" he said

"Dad, someday I'll will catch those two and they will pay what they've done to your Pokémon and those other, I promised that dad!"

Dad shaved his hand on my head and smiled. From that day, I promised to myself, once I got my Trainer license and become a trainer, I will find those two and avenge my dad's pokemon.

"I want to become a Pokemon Trainer and a Pokemon Enforcer!".
