1.Kratos(God of War)vs Silver Surfer(Marvel Comics)

•Similarities:Bald overpowered characters who used to be herald to a mighty deity and get their names from their skin

These guys are more similar to each other when you look at them deeply but who would be the real OG ? Answer to that is Silver Surfer because the first God of War game was released in 2005 and Fantastic Four vol 1 #48 was made in 1966. But I am not making this fan fiction to see who came first,I am making this to see who would win?The answer however isn't as simple as people who just look at game mechanics makes you believe.

Before I go on I should let you know that the arsenals and haxes these 2 posses equal each other out. Kratos can attack or summon souls? Silver Surfer can fight them. Silver Surfer can manupilate matter? Doesn't affect Kratos. I can explain all of them but I already have a long explanation to do. So lets start with strength.

When it comes to strength Kratos has shown that he is stronger than Hercules and Atlas who have lifted the Earth and the sky aka Cosmos. Silver Surfer has impressive strength feats too but he isn't stronger than Thor,Hercules or Hulk. Thor of Marvel Universe's strongest strength feats are holding the weigth of 20 planets with one arm and defeat Gorr the God Butcher who defeated gods who wrestle black holes for fun. Impressive but holding the Cosmos casually is more impressive.

Kratos definitaly has the strength edge but what about speed? Silver Surfer can travel the entire universe in mere seconds and shown that he can fight at these speeds. Sure Kratos can dodge Helios' infinite speed light beams and can catch up to Hermes who can do the same which allows him to fight against Silver Surfer but Surfer can also travel trough time which gives him incalculable or 4 dimensional speeds. Speed edge definitaly goes to Silver Surfer.

Kratos is stronger but Silver Surfer is faster. Silver Surfer has more abilities but Kratos' arsenal balances things out. Kratos is physically more durable and has better close combat weapons but Silver Surfer's energy absorbing abilities and long range combat allows him to stand up. This battle seems to end in a tie but one solidary fact allows Silver Surfer to win. That being his energy absorbtion. Silver Surfer is often said to be Herald level (aka galaxy level at best) but with his energy absorbtion and redirection(which he can make a million times more powerfull than the original attack) he was capable of defeating a Skyfather level being (aka Multi Universal casually) Uni-Lord. Sure Kratos doesn't have energy based projectiles but another thing is Silver Surfer once turned Hulk back to Bruce Banner by absorbing all the Gamma radiation inside him. He can absorb the Power of Hope from Kratos and kill him. Sure Kratos is an experienced Spartan warrior (more experienced in close combat than SS) and wouldn't let SS touch him but if SS can battle Thor,it is a matter of time before Kratos goes back to the Underworld.
