Krish responded to the door-knocking sound and glimpsed at the middle-aged woman, who was bowing before stepping inside. He bowed slightly, asking her to take the seat next to him.
"Are you Laura's mother?" Asked Krish before going further with the investigation.
She nodded lazily, looking at the ground anxiously.
"Do you want to file a case against this incident? Are you suspicious of any of her students or teachers?"
Exhaling deeply, that woman glared at him, asking, "Wasn't Mr. Chen her classroom teacher? Why are you involved without reason?"
Soon he witnessed that her mother had no regret or concern for what happened to Laura, despite her long face enunciating that she had cried badly for something.
