Chapter 284 Hunter’s Warm

Rory felt her palms getting wet. She knew that Nicki was crying.

She suddenly remembered that Hunter had dragged his wounded body to see Nicki that day. He said then, "She was waiting for me."

"Are you asking for Hunter?" Rory asked tentatively.

"Where is he? Why is his cell phone here?" Then, Nicki screamed.

"Nicki, don't worry. He's safe now. He's being treated in the hospital."

She hugged Nicki tightly. "Don't be afraid, you're safe. Both of you."

Nicki seemed to understand Rory's words and slowly calmed down. She looked at the milk in front of her and continued to drink it as if nothing had happened.

In the evening, Wayne came back.

"Cousin, have you found those people?" Rory asked coldly.

"From the surveillance camera that, it was crowded in the corridor, and everyone entered their private room. There are 23 people in total, 13 of whom could be ruled out. The remaining 10 people all disappeared."
