Rory's breath hitched for a moment. Her eyes dodged away as she cleared out her throat. "King Blake, am I not answering your question now? Isn’t that enough?"
King Blake obviously did not want to let her off the hook and continued. "I don’t think so. Why can’t you answer me straight to the point? Do you think you'll be able to let go soon, or the other way around?"
Rory paused and changed the subject. "King Blake, if you are done with your consultation, you can leave. There are still students waiting outside who still have to consult."
King Blake leaned back on the chair and looked at Rory with a faint smile. "Rory, how are you going to persuade me? I know you are feeling it too."
She braced herself and narrowed her eyes. "But it is different, King Blake. You have Wendy now."
"No, it’s not what you’re thinking." King Blake shook his head, emphasizing his words. "Rory listen, since the moment I met you, you are the only one."
