ROSE'S ATTEMPT TO...

"Finally, we are here." Rose sighs, and tries to jerk the door open.

"Rose, wait a little bit. Are you sure this is the apartment Ben was pointing to?" I tap her but she doesn't accept my suggestion.

"Just leave me the fuck alone." She says, and jerks the door at once. It falls flat immediately, and Rose's feet become slippery and as she slides into the house, Ben zooms into this arena and grabs her after I try to but couldn't. This was done in less than a second. I don't mean a minute. A fucking millisecond! By the time Ben lifts his face up and guides Rose out of where she almost got trapped into, his face and body looks very unkempt. My eyes catch hold of the two horns that have shot out of Rose's head and a devilish unintentional smirk plastered on her lips. Then I know that she just shifted. They both just shifted.

"What just happened?" I rub my eyes with my fingers and by the time I jerk my hands down again, they are already in their human form.
