Mated to A Rival Alpha

[COMPLETE || WARNING: MATURE CONTENT 21+ // Mercy Makes You Weak] “And when the sun goes down on your grave, let it be known, that it was all my doing.” ***** Tired of the shit-show put on by her apparent ‘mates’, Kim Rania, the most powerful, ruthless, and psychotic alpha of the Obren kingdom declares that she will not take a mate, a decision that no one questions, not even the mighty werewolf king. However, her announcement unlocks a pandora of betrayal, chaos, secrets, and unforgivable sins; which brews in her, a new tornado of anger, hate, and a great desire for retribution, a need she must fulfill. At the center of all that, is her ‘clueless’ true mate, the man she has grown to hate with everything she has and doesn't have; a man determined to cripple her rule with the unfortunate aid of her parents – Park Jihoon, alpha of her rival pack, Calindra. Rania knows she has a choice to make. To either forgive them and give in to her mate bond, or to burn them all and everything they hold dear. However her anger is too great and it drives her to seek the help of humanity’s greatest evil & immortal psycho, the lycan Kaia Seto, the soulless barbarian of barbarians, who is a little too willing to help her with her vengeance. Perhaps Kaia just has a good heart, right? But what if there is another reason Kaia is open to helping, will the psycho alpha agree to it, just for her vengeance?

She Would Always Fight Back

[RANIA]

"Get up!" Rania's opponent shouted, and Rania didn't make a move, instead, she lay down for a few seconds before getting back up.

Rania looked like she had had the worst night and day of her life, and honestly, she had, not that she would ever admit out loud. She was not going to give up anytime soon anyway.

"I'm up, you hopeless wanker," Rania said as she landed a stray punch toward her opponent. He easily missed and took that chance to hold Rania with her waist and drop her to the ground with a thud.

The sound of bones breaking was heard, but the audience couldn't give two shits right now. They wanted to see whether that pain would make Kim Rania cry, but she didn't. Instead, she maniacally laughed at them.

Jihoon looked at Paloma who just shrugged at him. He wanted her to stop the fight, but that wouldn't do Rania any good. Word would spread that the great Kim Rania had been bested by a rogue and that would make her a target of ridicule again.

Caught at crossroads, Jihoon didn't know what to do. He hated that she was hurting and was still fighting. He hates that she didn't want to stop fighting, instead, she was enjoying egging on her opponent.

She was already going to lose, but to Kim Rania, that didn't matter too much.

She didn't have to worry about anything because no matter what they did to her, she would always get up. Then again, what was the point of fighting when she had broken more bones than Jihoon could even count on his hands?

"I have been hurt one too many times, and I never cried. It won't matter even if you cut my legs off, because no one can make me cry. Dalrae isn't here so we can keep going if you like," Rania said.

Paloma looked at her, then at Jihoon, before shaking her head like she knew something no one knew. Rania glared at Paloma, daring her to say something to Jihoon.

If Paloma spoke, then Rania would treat her as an enemy and everyone knew that Rania never let anyone see the bodies of her enemies. They would always be considered a part of a story, one they had tried to join and hadn't even secured a spot on at the first page.

She would erase her, and if Paloma knew what was good for her, then she needed to shut up, because right now, Rania was a pissed werewolf alpha.

Rania's opponent gave up after landing more punches on Rania's broken self and failing to make her cry. So one by one, the young woman got more opponents. They hurt her in ways that Jihoon hadn't thought possible.

At her tenth opponent, Jihoon was sure Rania would give in, but the stubborn woman did nothing. Instead, she kept fighting like she was fueled by something no one knew. Maybe she had a different energy source because anyone in her state could have given up.

By midnight, Paloma decided that the ten-hour fight to make Rania cry had been gleeful but needed to stop. And so the crowd dispersed, leaving Rania, Paloma, and Jihoon staring at the woman like she had grown another head.

No one had managed to make Rania cry, and that was new but they had to accept it. Kim Rania was a wolf of a different kind. She had a determination that would someday hurt her, but it seemed like she would always fight back.

She was always going to be ready to fight back, even if it would be the last thing she did.

"Your brain needs fixing," Jihoon said before walking away from Rania. It was almost like he was sad and felt terrible for the woman.

Frankly, he did, but only because he had seen the way she had been thrown around like a dice and her bones broken more than once. Even then, Kim Rania had been relentless in her fight. Jihoon wondered what was wrong with Rania, surely, the woman had some problems.

"Don't I know it," Rania said with a laugh. Her voice came out hoarse, and her breaths slow.

If she hadn't been an alpha wolf, Kim Rania would have already gone back to the goddess and she knew it. She also knew for a fact that word would spread about the little stunt with the rogue and well, Dalrae would probably ground her.

It sounded like an impossible thing, but Kim Rania and Dalrae were the sisters of a lifetime. They had promised to take care of each other and be there for themselves.

They were loyal and more than anything they had promised to not do stupid things, but with Rania away, she had done more stupid things than Dalrae had warned her not to.

It was certain that she would get a scolding if she didn't get a fire message from Dalrae, but hey, she was hoping it would all be well.

"Why?" Paloma asked when everyone had left them alone.

She looked at Rania's broken self. The woman looked like she had been stomped on, more times than anyone could count. Her bones were still cracked and with an eerie fight, she had broken more in a bid to not cry.

Her body hurt like a bitch, and for a moment, Rania wanted to let it out, but even then, her ego wouldn't let her. She had been dared, and if she so much as sniffled, they would claim they had made her cry.

Rania couldn't risk that, which is why she was here presenting next to Paloma, hoping to the goddess that their mission isn't compromised.

"Why what? If you wanna ask a question, be specific about it. Don't tell me these past hours have made you a coward," Rania said, and Paloma laughed sadly, before gently holding Rania's head.

She knew Rania was aching all over and considering the position Rania was in, Paloma knew she would need help getting up. Her legs were folded and her arms broken. She looked like an egg before it transformed into an omelet and boy was she a bloodied egg.

Her hair, which had been in a ponytail earlier, was scattered all over her face and her shoulder, but she didn't even have the strength to get that shit off her face.

She was helpless.

She was weak, but she would never go down without a fight. The only thing that apparently seemed okay, was Rania's tongue, because it was still as sharp and daring as always.

Oh, when would the young werewolf learn?

"Even in the face of death, you still are cranky, and hard-headed," Paloma sighed.

Well she did have a good fight though, right?
