Mated to A Rival Alpha

[COMPLETE || WARNING: MATURE CONTENT 21+ // Mercy Makes You Weak] “And when the sun goes down on your grave, let it be known, that it was all my doing.” ***** Tired of the shit-show put on by her apparent ‘mates’, Kim Rania, the most powerful, ruthless, and psychotic alpha of the Obren kingdom declares that she will not take a mate, a decision that no one questions, not even the mighty werewolf king. However, her announcement unlocks a pandora of betrayal, chaos, secrets, and unforgivable sins; which brews in her, a new tornado of anger, hate, and a great desire for retribution, a need she must fulfill. At the center of all that, is her ‘clueless’ true mate, the man she has grown to hate with everything she has and doesn't have; a man determined to cripple her rule with the unfortunate aid of her parents – Park Jihoon, alpha of her rival pack, Calindra. Rania knows she has a choice to make. To either forgive them and give in to her mate bond, or to burn them all and everything they hold dear. However her anger is too great and it drives her to seek the help of humanity’s greatest evil & immortal psycho, the lycan Kaia Seto, the soulless barbarian of barbarians, who is a little too willing to help her with her vengeance. Perhaps Kaia just has a good heart, right? But what if there is another reason Kaia is open to helping, will the psycho alpha agree to it, just for her vengeance?

One-Way With The Enemy

"You think you have nothing to lose, huh? Don't you talk about my mate, Rania, or I'll make your life literal hell," Jihoon said and expectedly, Rania scoffed.

He knew she wouldn't be scared by him, and he knew nothing would break Rania's spirit. However, the day he would find whatever Rania was scared of losing, Jihoon would have won.

Jihoon was hopeful about that day, even though at the back of his mind, he knew it would take all hell to see Kim Rania break. But Jihoon was a patient man. He would wait out his revenge. He would make Rania suffer and he would enjoy every bit of it.

"You're honestly wasting my time. See, you have two options. Kill me and get it over with, or move aside so we both can go to the king, but no matter what you choose, you must remember, that I Rania, am not scared of you, and never will be.

"Choose fast," Rania said, looking at Jihoon dead in the eyes, her eyes filled with boredom, while Jihoon's were still the same, with a little bit of disbelief.

"I'll count to three, to make your life easier, since it seems to me like your brain cells are frozen at my sight. Maybe that will help jumpstart your brain, yeah?" Rania mocked, letting out a laugh.

Whatever Jihoon wanted to do, he could have already done it, and yet he was here, standing and undecided on whether Rania was more dangerous than the blade he was holding but did he care? Did he have to?

"You don't need to, I'm also curious what the king has for us. Let's kill each other after that, yeah? We can decide on the meeting spot and battle it down to the death," Jihoon said and Rania rolled her eyes at him.

This man was something else.

For someone who hated Kim Rania, he sure was acting like they were friends, when they were nothing to each other, beyond their enmity.

"Oh great, the ever so kind Jihoon of the Calindra pack, make some noise, trees, will ya?"

"Shut up Rania, and move," Jihoon said, telling Rania to walk so they would go together. They knew they were both disastrous and that no matter what happened, they still had a duty to their people.

It was crazy how the pack lands were governed and how much they spited each other, and wanted to murder each other, and yet for some reason, none of them ever had taken the first step. It was obvious that they weren't scared of each other.

They hated each other, so what the fuck was stopping them both from acting on the threats when they clearly wanted nothing to do with each other?

"What do you think he wants us for?" Rania asked as they walked towards the palace.

Since they had decided they wouldn't be killing each other anytime soon, the least they could do was have a civil conversation. It was crazy but this was somehow how their conversations panned out.

"I say there are rebels, people who want to attack the kingdom. Otherwise, why would he take us two when he knows we're both lethal?" Jihoon responded, hoping to the goddess that it was just about the rebels.

"I don't think so. If there are rebels, each pack can handle themselves and those that are weak can get support from the other packs. This just doesn't make any sense. I can only think of one reason for this, but even that reason makes no sense.

"It's frustrating, walking in blind, especially with the alpha camp in two days. What could be so urgent that he didn't want us to join the camp?" Rania hated being ambushed, but then right now, she didn't have a choice.

Whatever it was, they had to work on it soon.

"He knows how important the alpha camp is, but maybe whatever this is, he thinks we'll be done in a day's time. Hopefully, it's not as hectic, because who knows? Besides, I don't want to see your stupid face next to me again," Jihoon said.

"Feeling mutual. Your face makes me wanna puke, but hey, we don't have a choice here, yeah? I hope the mission is about breaking your legs, because I would enjoy doing that," Rania said, unfazed by Jihoon's threats.

They were true to their hatred and enmity, and nothing scared them about each other anymore; it was like they had grown comfortable with hating each other, to the point that things fell off about it. Of course, they were a crazy duo.

"I'm glad we both understand that," Jihoon said as they walked to the palace in silence. They didn't have much to talk about, but them walking this path together, gave them a sense of security.

They were strong warriors of their packs and the kingdom they weren't scared of anything, which meant that they could protect each other, no matter how much they hated each other.

They had made themselves a promise, the promise that they wouldn't let themselves die by anyone's hands. It was a crazy promise, but it was one that kept them true to their mission.

"Let's make a promise, Rania," Jihoon had said.

"You must be high on your balls or something to ask a promise from me."

"Get off your high horse and listen, you little shit."

"Fine, your stupid highness, what is it this time?"

"Let's promise that we will only die by each other's hands," Jihoon said.

"Of course, why the fuck do we even have to promise that? If anyone kills you before I do, I will kill them and their entire clan just to make them feel my wrath," Rania had responded and Jihoon smiled at her response.

So here and now, while they watched the sun rise high in the sky and the sun burn their backs, they walked to the place with their promise intact. They would be there for each other, only because of the stupid promise, but was it stupid, really?

"Damn, this place is huge!" Jihoon said and Rania just rolled her eyes at the man.

She couldn't believe that she was about to go on a mission with this blockhead. If they didn't die at each other's hands, she was sure they would perish because of Jihoon and his loudmouth.

It was something she had been mentally prepared for for years, and yet now that she was actually seeing it, she wasn't sure if she needed to be happy or cry about it.

"Oh great, I'm stuck with the typical child at heart. What else are you? A mountain bear without claws?" Rania mocked and Jihoon roughly brushed his shoulders on Rania's as he walked ahead of her, reaching the gates of the royal palace.

This was everywhere a wolf's dream; to someday get in here, and meet the great king, or even interact with them, but none of them had ever thought their dreams would even come true. So, despite being a pain in the ass, Rania understood Jihoon.

He was living in a dream, but she wasn't going to encourage him.

All hail the Calindra and Incayon alphas
