Mated to A Rival Alpha

[COMPLETE || WARNING: MATURE CONTENT 21+ // Mercy Makes You Weak] “And when the sun goes down on your grave, let it be known, that it was all my doing.” ***** Tired of the shit-show put on by her apparent ‘mates’, Kim Rania, the most powerful, ruthless, and psychotic alpha of the Obren kingdom declares that she will not take a mate, a decision that no one questions, not even the mighty werewolf king. However, her announcement unlocks a pandora of betrayal, chaos, secrets, and unforgivable sins; which brews in her, a new tornado of anger, hate, and a great desire for retribution, a need she must fulfill. At the center of all that, is her ‘clueless’ true mate, the man she has grown to hate with everything she has and doesn't have; a man determined to cripple her rule with the unfortunate aid of her parents – Park Jihoon, alpha of her rival pack, Calindra. Rania knows she has a choice to make. To either forgive them and give in to her mate bond, or to burn them all and everything they hold dear. However her anger is too great and it drives her to seek the help of humanity’s greatest evil & immortal psycho, the lycan Kaia Seto, the soulless barbarian of barbarians, who is a little too willing to help her with her vengeance. Perhaps Kaia just has a good heart, right? But what if there is another reason Kaia is open to helping, will the psycho alpha agree to it, just for her vengeance?

A Broken Girl's Fight [1]

[RANIA]

Rania looked around, and Jihoon was right. They were surrounded and had no idea where they were. It was quite difficult to tell, with the rogues always showing up at whatever times they wanted to. It was almost like they never stayed in one place.

No one could blame them though, the supernatural world was a cruel one for the rogues to live in and right now, they were staring at two people who had intruded in their lives, but had the alphas really intruded?

'Thank the goddess,' Rania sighed when she realized that Jihoon hadn't said a word about the bite mark on his neck.

They hated each other and if that bite was going to cause a complication, Jihoon could have spoken right up. Maybe the Calindra alpha really hated Rania to the point that a stupid mark wasn't going to stop him from what he was going to do to her, but was it just that?

These two alphas were weird in their own way. One moment they wanted to kill each other and the next, they were pining to save each other.

Perhaps they shouldn't have been enemies in the first place, but would that make things easy between them or would it have just made their lives a little too harder, considering the endless secrets they were all holding onto?

"Well, well, well. What have we here? I thought pushing you would get him to kill you on my behalf but I guess I gotta do that on my own, yeah?" Paloma asked, her voice full of scorn and disappointment.

She knew what she was doing with the two though right now, it felt like she wanted them to fight to the death. Jihoon looked angry, like he was about to rip through Rania but his anger had apparently taken a back seat because they had a mission to complete.

More than their enmity, the two alphas of Obren hated not completing their missions. They would java preferred to die trying than just give up, because that would prove their incompetence. And incompetence was something they both despised.

Jihoon looked at Paloma, seeing as the woman was ready to land a blow on Rania. She looked like this was the perfect moment to get her revenge for whatever Rania had done to her, but then again, there was only so much that she could avenge.

Kim Rania hadn't been the least bit remorseful for what she had done to Paloma and while Jihoon was also curious about it, they had other things to think of.

"I uh, kinda can't let you do that Paloma," Jihoon said confidently as he rubbed the back of his neck, to show Paloma that he wasn't confident. However, everyone here could feel Jihoons aura and it was a powerful one. It was the kind that forced any werewolf to submit.

If Jihoon told them to bend the knee, they would all bend it no doubt because that was how powerful the Calindra alpha was.

Rania was at the same level as him, though she didn't want to use her authority here. She didn't want war, even when she was the very symbol of hatred in the supernatural world.

Maybe that could be said for both of them because as Jihoon stood up and looked at Paloma, he knew he wasn't going to let things go beyond what he could control.

Paloma looked at Park Jihoon like he had grown a new head. She was giving him a chance to eliminate Rania and blame it on the rogues and the guy was just quietly watching? Was he on drugs or something? Besides, why the fuck would he even try stopping Paloma?

"And what's stopping me from doing that?" Paloma asked, her voice wavering for the power that Rania and Jihoon were oozing. They may have been rogues but at the end of the day, they were werewolves and the children of the moon.

"Because only I am allowed to kill her. But you see, the king sent us on a mission, and I need her, so I can't kill her. Don't worry though, if we complete the mission, I'll let you torture her, and then I can murder her.

"Deal?" Jihoon said to Paloma who was still not sure this was the feed Calindra alpha, who hated Kim Rania with all of his being. Why the fuck was he negotiating her life when he knew he could as well complete the mission without Rania's help?

Whatever it was that Park Jihooon was hiding, it had to be really good, especially for him to step up and defend his nemesis like that.

"That's unfortunately too long for me, considering what she has done to all of us. This woman is cruel, I wonder why you are defending—" Paloma began but Jihoon let out a sarcastic laugh, his voice showing how much he spited Rania.

"No, please, no. Don't mistake me for such atrocious activities. I'd rather drink poison than defend her, y'know. I hate her with all of me and surely everyone in the supernatural world knows that.

"Whatever you do, don't mistake me for caring for her, because if there had been no mission, she would be long dead, I can swear that on everything I ever believed in," Jihoon said angrily, his sarcasm fading it the background as his voice expressed his desires.

It didn't take a while before Paloma realized that Jihoon was telling the truth. This guy would have already fought to the death with Kim Rania.

However, the most probable ending was them killing each other, because there was just no way that Rania was ever going to let Jihoon win against her. She wouldn't let him do that.

"Oh jeez, I never thought you wanted me gone that much," Rania said sarcastically. She had been watching Jihoon and Paloma and for a moment, she wished that it wasn't just hate that bound her to Jihoon.

She wished he would know the truth, but if Jihoon knew the truth, her world would be turned upside down, not to mention the fact that he wouldn't even have to drive his sword into her, for him to be the reason she died.

Shaking her head, Rania knew she had to focus on what was happening around her. She needed to make sure that wanted it because she wasn't letting her emotions do the talking. After all, if she did, then they were all doomed.

"Everybody wants you gone, Kim Rania. The only thing stopping us is your unhinged state and the fact that the hatred you get, kills you more than any wolfsbane I've wanted to flood in your body," Jihoon spitefully said and he was truthful.

He may have hated Rania, but from what he had said, he knew so well that the hate she got from everyone had broken her and turned her into whatever this was.

Kim Rania was hopeless and broken, way too broken that no one would ever be able to fix her, no one dared to try anyway. Each time she rested in the night, she would always try to find love in all the hate, but she never did.

She had been the most hated person in Obren and no one even knew why she was hated in the first place. It was almost like everyone just hopped on the bandwagon of Rania's hate train.

If anyone was asked, they honestly couldn't justify their hate, and Rania knew that. But then again, that never stopped the people around her from hating her, which is why she wasn't even surprised when Jihoon was cruel to her.

She was already used to it, even when it still hurt so bad, hearing Jihoon say that.

What if she wasn't broken, would she have fought for herself? So many secrets between the two of them, but who will open up first?
