Hundreds of years passed as the population of Dragons, Elementals, and various plant lives increased so did the amount of power I had access to. They breathed magic into this world, helping stabilize my overall lane or dimension either one worked. It didn't matter, they helped create a somehow chaotic and orderly world, it changed as you went from part to part. Although most of the team was chromatic dragons vs metallic dragons vs elementals, a three-way war.
There were some items of peace, and some of them did work together, changing their nature over time. Alliances rose and fell, the land was changed and balance was kept between Tiamat and Bahamut thanks to Drasilaga, and the elementals were keeping themselves in check not wanting alliances to grow between the primordial. Even if some of the grand creations got along the original four would never tolerate each other.
Giving me plenty of time to design my own original monster to unleash on the universe. Then I figured why not try to make a whole new race of humanoids, beings who were natural masters of magic, who could shape themselves as they saw fit. They would have two roles, two would help me, and two could go across the universe becoming something more. I made tall and angelic looking with two large wings on their back and while they would have an angelic look to them, most would assume they were devils or monstrous beings based don't the overall look I gave.

They would have free will like all my other creations, they would choose what they wished to be known as across the universe. Whether they wished to be true angelic beings or true devils that would be their choice. They would however be my first dive into creating an original species of monsters and I was not going the Adam and Eve route, if they wished to reproduce they would nearly need to either
A. mate with another species or if they wished for a perfect copy of their own species with each other but never with their children, I made sure to hammer that in.
or
B. Separate a bit of their flesh and create a clone of themselves, if they wished they could try to modify it but well that would be difficult.
It was worth it to pour my energy into them, to make sure they were truly alive and not just flesh-made golems. No, I wanted them to be truly alive like the rest of my creations and I wanted them to be the perfect opening to the horrors or greatness I have to unleash on the world, like my fellow Elder god Gaea, who was the embodiment of the earth, of nature.
My other fellow Elder gods who went uncorrupted in their own way also represent a part of the universe, of their being. Even Cthon who I wished to avoid for quite a bit longer before I had more power and beings under my command was a true master of dark magic, one of the Elder gods who absorbed our kind and became uncorrupted.
Hopefully, these beings I was making could help me on this path and solidify myself as a strong Elder god, one not to be made fun of. Even if I was a weak Elder god, I would still be respected for my craft. I would also like for Atum or whatever their name was now that's been hundreds of years, to not be able to kill me straight away. To be able to fight on my own against begins of great power in this universe of any other.
I could try my hand at absorbing one of my creation powers, one day anyway, if it was mindless, unlike the others. I didn't want to be a full-on villain, no I'd rather be neutral, for my creation to always have a mind. That could however change if a threat came, a threat I would need all the power I could to take it on. I wouldn't like but I had to keep an open mind, if my birth was anything to go by this universe would be extremely dangerous some old memories were coming back but nothing concrete.
Like the begins I saw, Gaea, Cthon, the Demiurge they reminded me of something that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I'm sure it will come back eventually, perhaps during one of those comedic moments certain shows and movies like to do for dramatic effect, the ones where the main character remembers a piece of crucial information that changes the story or becomes a huge problem.
Well let's hope it wasn't one of those cliches, I would prefer to have all the information I had before encountering some big cosmic threat. For right now though I would concentrate on creating a new race of beings, ones that could travel across the cosmos becoming legends in their own right for better or for worse, good or evil, order or chaos. I would not make them become devils if they were malevolent, well not if they didn't want to of their own free will or did something that angered me so much I had to punish them to the extreme.
Even then that would only be in extreme situations, same for the rest of my creations or grand creations as I didn't know whether or not I should call them grandchildren. Didn't want to make things too awkward if they didn't want me to call them that or if they had the intelligence to want me to call them that as some of the elementals were a bit more beastly than others.
I could find out later, as I put the finishing touches on my original monsters, that I will admit were inspired by the more human-looking angels. Not the ones described in the bible as they would be more eldtrich-looking if I did that.
With a snap of my fingers, I brought the four begins to life and they looked around, gaining a new understanding of their surroundings once they saw me, they did an air bow already understanding how their bodies worked and how they could float or fly. Which was a good thing as I didn't want to have to catch them as they fell to the ground and get caught up in the current chaotic or orderly plane of mine just yet. One of the two in front spoke first, probably curious as to why I created them.
"Great one, for why did you breathe life into us?"
